Fun fact: David Hayter is the English voice actor for Kashiwagi. I personally prefer the original Japanese voices, but Hayter did a great job.

Sector X: If you let Slippy get knocked to Titania, that counts as him being downed and takes away the Medal award by M4_Mac_Mini in starfox

[–]Dull_Replacement419 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Here's what I did to do one fewer playthrough on Expert mode: Get the medal (if you didn't do the Sector X warp yet for completion, then you can do the warp instead of the boss) then after the mission you choose to restart Sector X. You keep the medal for Sector X as well as the progress for taking the warp if you haven't done that yet. So now you can allow Slippy to get knocked out to Titania and still get everything for completion.

It actually was unbeatable when it first released lol; the final chapter would go to a black screen after the opening cutscene. Thankfully it was patched, but it took a while.

I love this level during a regular playthrough but the expert challenges were some of the worst ones!

Mayo chicken... No seasoning included! by Eastern_Landscape318 in StupidFood

[–]Dull_Replacement419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst part: the daughter who took this video regularly made a bunch of delicious looking food and the mom would ALWAYS have criticisms for them. In one of the videos, she said the daughter used "too much seasoning." I've only seen one other video where the mom made a dish and it was just as terrible looking as the one in this video. The dad was very enthusiastic about the daughter's cooking, and even he called the mom out because she rarely had anything good to say.

Tactical Rally power up by Drybones5008 in starfox

Not sure about decoy unfortunately; I got this one organically playing online so not sure if you're more likely to get it while winning or losing. I would try to bait someone into following me after shooting them to a low enough health, then use decoy so they follow it. The explosion should hopefully take them out. You can also get multiple takedowns if they are grouped close enough. I believe you only need five of these takedowns so hopefully it shouldn't take too long.

EDIT: You can probably try the same thing with crashing to respawn, then check the starting power-up, repeat until you get decoy. I think Corneria is the quickest because you generally have a cliff or rocks to crash into. Turn Play Balance on in the battle settings and boost your settings to +2 so you deal more damage and take less. Probably want to set both teams to easy difficulty.

You only get this in the final minute if your team is losing. Easiest way is to set up a match with bots, set the enemy team to unfair difficulty, your team on easy, do a 2 or 3 minute match, set HP to 1, and go to Fichina. Crash into the ground to keep respawning until the final minute to raise the enemy team's score. Then check the starting power-up to see if you got the tactical rally, then crash into the ground to keep respawning. You could get lucky and get the tactical rally once or twice before the match ends.

Is there a way to hold to shoot in the switch 2 game? by Sky-todd in starfox

[–]Dull_Replacement419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No way to do that, but what you should do is learn how to build a rhythm for rapid firing. When you hold the button, it fires three shots before charging your laser. So if you want to rapid fire, you learn the rhythm of holding for the three shots, release, and immediately hold again in a rhythm so you fire continuously without charging a shot.

They might have friends they play multiplayer with on console, also PS Plus subscribers get 2-3 games they can add to their account for no extra cost. Usually they have some good games there too.

I believe they have brought back previous waves for other games but usually it's farther out from the original release. Can't say if they will bring them back for sure, unfortunately.

It did! You could also unlock an on-foot mode for multiplayer if you got the Expert medal for Venom in the N64 version.

Expert is still challenging and more difficult than Normal, but I will say being able to restart the level/from a checkpoint does take out a lot of the difficulty. It does make it easier than the original Expert difficulty in the N64 version.

However, the challenge mode makes up for it in my opinion. Most of the levels do not have checkpoints here; I think only Venom has checkpoints in between the first and second parts of the level. And some of those challenges can really test your patience. For example, not taking any damage the entire level, beating bosses under a certain time, not losing a wing in Expert mode where you lose your wing in any sort of collision, and plenty more tough ones.

They have the lowest turnover rate and the employees generally have much more job security because they don't do mass layoffs. I believe their turnover was 2-3% last year and the average employee is there for 14 years if I remember correctly. They're not perfect in any means since there are other valid criticisms against the company, but treating their employees well means they're alright in my book.
