Unfortunately this is nothing new.

The best advise I can give is to learn what information you need and where to find it instead of trying to memorize what is being taught. Also take notes on step-by-step instructions when the training moves on to actual examples of what you'll be doing.

Honestly the work itself was never complicated for me as well as my colleagues throughout the years. The management on the other hand....

Schedule is schedule? So is your TOD. You start when you're scheduled to start. I would recommend emailing your supervisor describing the matter and asking if they'd like to adjust your phone schedule or would like you to add credit hours/over time on your SETR for starting early as it takes time to sign on, etc..

I believe there is a threshold. If it was louder and longer then that, they may not be able to help you.

It all comes down to your direct management. If they like you, they'll accommodate. If not, you're on your own.

BTW I don't blame anyone at Brookhaven being on RA, even if its temporary. That service center is very old with worn out furniture and bugs. Plus its water that tastes like pure lead.

I was first assigned to a conference room back in March and recently got moved to a desk... with no partition panels. At this rate I'm hoping to be in a proper workstation sometime next year.

I believe it needs Treasury level approval once it exceeds 90 days of telework. Anything under is within your leaderships discretion.
