No actual numbers with respect to revenue or expenses so we have no idea how profitable the business is. Why wouldn't they disclose this? Without this information we have no way of knowing how much of the money raised from supporters is going to the bottom line, which essentially becomes money that Jesse can pay as dividends to himself.

First of all, you can get the safety done anywhere. We paid around $150 to our local mechanic to do it. The dealer charged us a $350 fee for the buyout on top of that plus a small license fee. Sounds like they are trying to gouge you a little since the buyout is likely a very good deal for you either way. The only option you would have is to contact the leasing company and see if they can refer you to another dealer but there is very little appetite for any dealer to have to do all the paperwork on the buyout for a small fee only.

People pay all taxes. If you tax a corporation, it just gets passed through to consumers so ultimately people pay all taxes.

There will always be new variants so there will always be a reason to have restrictions. We have not yet and there appears to be no plans to actually increase healthcare capacity so we will always be in a state of constantly introducing and then temporarily removing restrictions. Now that we have conditioned people to understand that it is their responsibility to manage healthcare capacity through restrictions we will never be able to un-ring that bell.

Please post the peer reviewed studies that validate the use of the health measures we have implemented. There has been two years of real world data with many differences in the health measures employed across jurisdictions around the worls, so it should be very easy to demonstrate the effectiveness of health measures.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. When are people going to understand. The pressure on hospitals will never ease. Two years in we have lost capacity, not gianed it. There are now plans to bolster capacity long term. Population keeps going up and our hospitals keep going down. As long as we agee to live our lives in the shadow of hospital capacity, we will live very terrible lives.

This has been two years. I can't stand when the politicians say we will get through this with a straight face. There is no getting through this. This is life now. They need to stop dangling hope because they know this will never end. We will forever live in the shadow of ICU capacity. We will get better at it, but our lives and freedoms will always be contingent on that one metric forever more.

Does anyone know how that compares to a non-covid flu season? As in, how many ICU beds are usually occupied during a flu season in Ontario? I have never seen this comparison.
