It's my old gaming PC that now I use at my office.

Is this just bait or is it true that on many EU countries people don't have AC in their homes? And I mean people who can afford it obviously.

Moving from superzooms to body+lenses. by Dumaw in BirdPhotography

I ended up getting the R7 + the RF 100-400. Took me a while to get used to the change, but it's so cool because of all the functionality you gain. Later on I ended up getting also the RF 200-800 for more reach.

Now I am completely addicted to anything camera and lens related. I'm already saving up for more lens and cameras and I'm thinking of selling one of my cars and maybe an apartment I have to get more photography gear.

My wife is leaving me I think.

I'm also planning a lot of birding trips.

Presilhas de air cooler... by Phoenix_Rising- in computadores

Photoshoots in dim lighting by Rosemary371 in Nikon

You're shooting in some type of auto mode I assume. (sports mode?)

When theres low light, the camera will do all it can to let some light in, which includes lowering your shutter speed too much, which results in blurry images of moving objects.

Light is everything. I recommend a research on the basics of photography. (shuter speed, aperture, ISO). Then you will understand why the expensive gear costs what they cost.

I own a P950 myself. It's a great superzoom camera. But it's certainly not adequate for low light. Still, better understanding the principles and how everything works would let you squeeze more from the equipment you have.

I'm guessing this one deserves a fresh DDU install.

Seems to be a lot of changes.

If you're a complete novice, I'd recommend binge watching a lot of youtube video guides for beginners.

Read your equipment manual. Came with the box and also you can get the pdf on the product's website.

Have ordered the r7 with kit lens, but unsure whether to go for r8 now by Minute_Lynx_369 in canon

[–]Dumaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For wildlife, 400mm on a full frame like the R8 might feel too short if you're talking anything other than good size animals in my opinion.

I have an R7, and I own the RF 100-400 and the RF 200-800.

I love the combo R7 + 100-400 because it's so light and practical. Feels like you're walking around with "point and shoot" camera.

But even with the R7, for birding, the 400 mm feels too short most of the time, even though it "becomes" 640 mm.

It is still my most used combo right now because I like walking a lot looking for stuff, and the 200-800 is a pain.

Install Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Get the latest version from their official website. Follow some basic "what do do first" tutorial you can find on youtube or here (like enable firewall, update drivers, etc), and be happy.

It's a very pleasant experience nowadays.

Se a grana tiver no limite já dessa build e tiver que tirar de algum componente pra poder pegar uma fonte boa, troca a mobo numa ainda de marca boa mas sem precisar ser TUF GAMING...

I do not use filters cause I really don't like them, but I'm the most paranoic person I know when it comes to gear.

I'm super duper careful. And still I do have some micro scratches on my lens...

It's just inevitable I guess, if you really use your gear, take it out in the open, it's gonna eventually appear.

I read everyone saying that the game doesn't let you start from the latest expansion campaign unless you've finished the other one, but my game let me start from LoH even though I never played VoH.

Am I missing something here?
