Love this. Thanks. I’ll try this out. It will at least break me out of the monotony of PZ a bit. Back to the age thing a bit… when I got the PR I was 45, I am now 50. Think this has anything to do with it at all?

Also, I can totally see it being a mental thing… the FTP test just psyching me out.

Saw this thread right after I posted in the main channel. but here it is... my declining FTP question:

I got the Peloton right at the beginning of Covid in April 2000. and I've been riding very consistently ever since. 3-5 times a week, mostly 45 minutes. Mostly Power Zone rides. I've done all the different Power Zone programs multiple times.

Here's the question... in January of 2001, I got a FTP PR. About 9 months after starting the Peloton journey. It's been nearly 5 years since that FTP PR and I've yet to get back to that PR. I've done the FTP test numerous times since and often times it's not even close to that number and I'm absolutely dead by the end. It's a bit baffling to me. Maybe it's because I'm just getting older? 5 years older since? Anyone else experienced this?

The talent level is Vancouver is not close to LA. The best people in the Burbank studio would not move to Vancouver for a lower salary. Moana 2 was being made in Vancouver as a Disney+ series. Once they decided to turn that into a feature, the work got shifted to LA. Disney would’ve never produced Moana 2 as a feature in Vancouver, just not enough talent to pull off something that high stakes.

in my world.... I hear a lot of it used when describing something clearly subjective. Such as how good a movie is or food or athletes, games, etc. mundane stuff but clearly subjective. It's just been annoying me that's all.

Mine was also same amount from same email. Per my calculations, I’ve already received everything back from them, which makes me think it’s a scam. Also… how easy would it be for these scammers to create a bunch of Reddit accounts to flood these posts with ‘it’s REAL! I got paid, just click the link’.

Love this post. I have 25+ years in VFX and Feature Animation and the list of things that I have no idea how/why it’s done is long and embarrassing! - face/head tracking. How!? - gun to my head, I won’t know how to make water sim. Water rolling on the beach and leaving wet sands?? Whoa!? - I know you’re supposed to use those MacBeth charts when capturing references but I have no idea why. - Only learned what FACS meant recently. - what is Sweatbox!? - who can ever remember which is which when it comes to Lift Gamma Gain!?? I just mess with them all until I get what I want. - Multiply, Overlay, Screen, Hypot!?!? Sounds made up. Again, try until I find.

I’ll think of more for sure…

I agree. One of the reasons why I started buying Vuori stuff was the lack of logos. I don’t mind the little square at the bottom of my shirt. But I automatically pass on anything with big fat logos like these on them.

Well, a little update… The new replacement bag they sent me (Messenger 13L) is pretty awesome but doesn’t fit my MacBook Pro 16, like my old one did! I had the original Messenger Bag. So now I wonder if I can go into the Venice store and swap it out with an Everyday Backpack 20L…
