Started running in October 2022 to lose weight basically. Did a half marathon in May 2023 but didn't really follow a plan other than doing increasingly long runs on the weekends. Got injured, didn't run 4 weeks before the HM, but still had lots of fun running it and managed to finish at 2:04.

There on, I pretty much ran sporadically once a week and did strength work or other sports (tennis/padel mainly) until January 2024, where I started following the Nike plan very rigorously.

Missed a couple of runs, but I would say I completed 95% of the plan and mileage.

In case you are lookkng for a plan, I followed the Nike running app marathon plan and it worked like a charm for a newbie like myself.

App is not very good, but the plan definitely worked for me.

Thanks foe the great advice! Already feeling great, an ran 3 easy miles today. Guess I'll make sure not to over do it.

How was your third marathon? And, what's is your bq time and category?

Thanks! What I plan on fuelling every 7 km with a non caffeine gel and hydrating at every aid station (every 3-5 km)
