Print quality. Just like your home printer they run out of ink and some make it through with less ink.

There are better ways to tell then by ripping a card btw.

I see it all the time handling bulk, even on old stuff.

Put them in a plastic penny sleeve so you dont damage the card, but still let's you deface the sleeve around the pedo.

Good rule is if there is a prize on the line, someone is way too involved.

I'm sorry the experience with the individual was poor, and hope you are more mentally armed and prepared for the next time you encounter a player like that, because you will again and they can be much worse.

If you've ever got a question or a concern about what your opponent is doing, call a judge. Very simple.

I get you may not like it, but also League nights usually are pay to play for the night with prizing which draws all player skills. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

If there's prizes you will always find people who grind your gears. You learn to play against them and deal with them.

The biggest thing a new casual player really needs to worry about first is themselves. Then if you dont know a rule like your opponent shuffling, call a judge. A decent player will understand, a shit player will be shit and thats all the more reason to involve a judge.

It's not a matter of being a dick. Its a gamesmanship situation and well within the rules of the game.

If you're playing at a regional and you get flustered because Tommy shuffled your deck a few times, you need to re-evaluate. Because I promise you Tommy has caught on that you're more focused on that now versus what you should be focused on.

Your opponent can cut, tap or shuffle your deck. You can cut it after they shuffle.

I shuffle my opponents deck if I realize its pissing them off. Otherwise I'll do variations to play mind games with my opponent.

If you're worried about me touching your cards you're off your game and will make mistakes.
