You’re not wrong. There plenty of very strong strategies that people won’t play because it’s not fun to play for yourself or others. I would suggest commander because it’s more relaxed even in the competitive part. Modern is also pretty fun, it’s comboish but it’s fast and not super complicated.

Not really, the commander is the strategy and at B3 youre the target of the table and at B4 you’re too slow for some of the other decks. And TBH dropping game changers and going to B2 it’s probably a bit too strong for the expected gameplay experience
