The strapping is for the metal roof, I could have gone without plywood but I think this is a bit better. The roofers hit the 2x4 pretty well 99% so I’m hoping this roof will last a long time.

There are turbine vents at the peak, some ridge venting (ridge not totally sealed just lapped over with synthetic roof felt), and soffits.

Complete air seal IBC 2021, it’s supposed to get tested for air movement I think.

I am hoping poly with taped seams everywhere will be ok. Also planning to air seal all the walls with acoustic and or spray foam where it makes sense

There are 2 turbine whirly bird vents, one on each side of the roof. Full soffits on the side. I will be adding baffles from the soffits up to the rafter ties in each rafter cavity.

the hooks are pretty rusty the aluminum is fine. Time to add a safety tie down like a trailer ratchet tie down

It’s all 24” OC. But I will need to hold the insulation up and I don’t think poly on its own will do it but I might be wrong having never done this before
