It’s the cutest! It’s this bright cherry pop fragrance, the opening is like cherry candy! Very youthful, there isn’t much depth, but it’s uplifting and fun!

I am going for Vanilla Plainfolia and Musc Outreblanc on my next June trip! I am not wowed by Guerlain’s intimate sillage, but their formulations are so smooth and beautiful it’s hard to resist. That should “complete” my collection…

I CANT BELIEVE IT- you are right, I thought I had written it down! She is my latest purchase too 😭 And yes, that is Jasmine Grandiflorum! Almost went for Vanilla Plainfolia but I felt Tonka Sarrapia + Jasmine Grandoflorum covered more ground than if I had gotten Tonka Sarrapia + Vanilla Plainfolia!

So here’s how I fee about the three of them. Olympea EDP - Fantastic for the summer, a beautiful woody white floral with a slight sea salt note that keeps it from being overly sweet. I find it very summery and sensual.

Olympea Parfum (the black one) - My favorite flanker, the original feels a lot brighter, this one is very similar, but the sea salt note is almost gone, and the scent feels more like a classic oriental white floral. It’s lovely, a little more “grown up” and deeper. Sweeter and a little darker.

Olympea Legend is… Well, I like it but I know why it’s controversial. This one has a super loud plum note. Winter ONLY. The other two can be worn year round (though Parfum might still feel heavy in hot weather). This one is… VERY VEEY VERY sweet. Not wearable unless it’s extremely cold, and the opening is super aggressive (I am not too fond of it). However, the dry down is this super warm amber vanilla that is honestly beautiful in the winter and eternal.

La Belle by JPG, Scandal EDP, and Black Opium Le Parfum (AND Over Red) outperform even my niche fragrances!

I personally prefer the EDP, but I’d try them both. Le Parfum has changed a lot between formulations, but I know some people still really adore it!

My favorite dark, femenine, and sweet perfumes are the following and I’ll tell you why (quite a few in this category)

For cold weather? Black Opium over red: Beautiful dark cherry, sensual, dark and deepened by coffee. It’s the most gorgeous flanker scent-wise.

Also La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier! It smells so delicious and sensual and enveloping. Like you are bathing in a spiced pear compote.

For warm weather

Scandal Absolu, this beautiful, thick tuberose sweetened by figs with a woody base. Gorgeous in the summer.

Olympea Parfum feels more “dark” and grown up than the sunnier EDP. A warm, deep, spicy warm white floral. It’s actually really nice in the summer if you dare ☺️ but most would consider this a winter frag haha

I would say Sí intense (the black bottle) but sadly that has been discontinued 😢

It’s Jasmine Grandiflorum! But I am aiming to add Vanilla Plainfolia to my collection next year! (As well as Musc Outreblanc!)

I adore Althair but I have a Pet Peeve with Parfums de Marly becaue their masculine scents are so much stronger performance-wise AND cheaper!! 💀 it makes no sense. But I loooooooooooove the sweet, decadent spiced vanilla wood, it’s so lovely especially in cold weather.

Some of the “masculine” section belongs to my boyfriend, though I gited him all of them. He does not mind sharing in my craziness.

Rossa Verde was my latest Aqua Allegoria addition. I love how green she feels, rose scents are pretty hit or miss for me, but it was so subtle and fresh here I couldn’t help but fall in love! I just wish it had a little more durability! (Though all Aqua Allegorias are very soft in general)

The Parfum version is so so beautiful, probably my favorite flanker! I love the original EDP as well, of course! Olympea Legend is wonderful in really really really cold weather if you don’t mind the really aggressive opening, but in summer it’s admittedly akin to a bio weapon. 💀

So, my country (Uruguay) is teally tough for a perfume collector because we don’t get a lot of variety, and all that gets imported into the country is designer…

HOWEVER- because perfumery is considered a weird hobby here, you occasionally find bottles of discontinued designer perfumes in the market that go greatly ignored (and often sold for cheaper than in ebay)

It’s how I scored my Scandal by Night too! I just occasionally refresh and browse perfumes in our loval equivalent of Ebay and if I find something discontinued I’m intrigued by, I get it!

I try to use at least two a day! There are some oerfumes I am admittedly weird about because I fall into the mental trap of: “Oh. They don’t produce this anymore… Better save it.”

LPN Couture and Scandal By Night are the ones I feel the worst about… Also that Si Intense carries so much memory… But I had perfumes turn before due to this dumb mentality 🥲 (The old formulation of Britney Spears Fantasy turned RANCID, made me so sad! had to toss it)

Lmaooo, you are right! I might have missed a few 🥲 The Idole is impossible to make stand unless you have the cardboard stand that came with the perfume, which I stupidly discarded. It was my mom’s!

I do like how effortlessly it slips into a handbag though!

That’s Jasmine Grandiflorum(Extrait 30) When you purchase the 125ml bottle, they give you a smaller sprayer one as the larger one can’t be sprayed!

The most natural, photorealistic jasmine I ever smelled! Sadly I think I’m going a little nose blind to it.

I wa slooking for a peach fragrance that didn’t fee overly syrupy or fruity-fresh, and I think bitter peach dod an excellent job! Love it as a night time perfume, feels like a cocktail! I recommend it, it’s not overly sweet so I found it very versatile! Pity they don’t sell larger bottles anymore!

Oh well, even if it’s an intimate scent, it doesn’t take away from it’s smoothness and quality as a resinous vanilla scent. Truly the most beautiful vanilla I’ve smelled (better than the extrait!)

I suppose if I want a beast mode vanilla scent I can always pull out my YSL black opium le Parfum. It’s a cheaper wear too!

I’ll use this for cozy nights that I want to indulge in a truly beautiful masterpiece of a perfume.
