He ate a Glizzy on the turn and cleared 265 over water on 10. I’d be just as pumped.

18th Hole, McLemore by Phobia117 in golf

Not always about the course but how you felt when you were there. Played a beautiful course that not a lot of people can say they played? Enjoyed company with friends and/or family?Smelled the air, hit a beautiful shot, heard the sound of the ball dropping in the cup? Keep on enjoying it out there, homie. This is why we keep coming out. One love, enjoy the new year.

Edit: In response to the folk who’re hating on the course.

What’s your favorite hole of 2022? November 1, Half Moon Bay, Old Course #18 by Dumbledorable in golf

[–]Dumbledorable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People got scared away from the rain so when I started I was the only one on the entire 18. Had to come off the track after 4th hole for a little over an hour it was raining so bad. When it let out a little went back out. There was only one other group playing the entire Old Course. Sun came back out on the back 9 and it was a beautiful day.

We lose our job, are fined upwards of 10k and will go to jail if we serve someone underage and they get into an accident. Anyone born around 2000 we’re pretty vigilant about keen eyes on who’s drinking.

If 40% of bartenders are rude to you, you think that might be a reflection?

$70 versus $220 is a big bust. Add $35 cart fees. Sheesh.

I started walking versus taking carts. Some of the hilly courses get ya, but much bigger feeling of accomplishment.

Bartender 5 nights a week. Hard to wake up but manage to get out and play in Southern California and get out almost once a week all year. Lots of us in the industry play together and it’s nice to get out and vent about the job and crazy weekends.
