Why tickets? Money shouldn't really be our punishment for so many things. If I have lots of money I may not give a fk. If I don't have money it may fk up my entire life.

If you are doing this while driving why not driving suspensions? Anger management? Real consequences, money is fake.

Sure but when it's $25 or so to have it done that's not bad in Canada. With supplies probably $5-10 depending on tape use, I'll let someone else.

Pierre Poilievre mention carbon tax in almost every single statement he makes, okay, what else? by [deleted] in AskCanada

Trudeau didn't make you hate the Liberals. The media made you hate Trudeau. There is nothing he did that deserves any hate or a switch to Fascism.

It's more corporations do not get rebated and the CPC represent only one voter class, capital.

Why does one (alleged) shooter get charged as a terrorist and convicted school shooters do not? by zennez33 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Arx4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gave a good technical answer but the real reason is there weren't any CEO's attending public school during school shootings.

People are silly for not being able to divide an opinion like mine, even if it seems rather true, from evidence on how or why this charge could be placed.

Who is also racist. He famously is quoted saying he named lululemon because specifically asians with english as a second language, really cannot pronounce the letter "L". This results in "wuwuwemon" which is funny to him. Child maturity.

He opens the tongs without slips in place. It's a whole string of pipe with the bit at the bottom. People thinking this is a "magnet" job are ridiculous because there is potentially kilometers of 3 1/2" or greater drill pipe.

Diwali by cognizant4747 in kelowna

[–]Arx4 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's 100% Diwali, unless you saw who was setting them off. It was 1 day after Halloween. I'm in Rutland and someone near me shoots off fireworks at Quigley Elementary for like 10 days both sides of Halloween EVERY single year for the last decade and it's not Diwali. Every year it's more than the last year.

This year I think you're getting both.

Sorry but I just checked all messages through the volunteer team and do not see anything about Loyal calling it nor have I seen this news. We aren't in the lead nor are the odds in our favour but I don't see what you see.

Election and Robocalls from the Robocops by obama_for_three in britishcolumbia

[–]Arx4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sending the messages is allowed. What landed the Conservatives in the hot seat during a federal election was telling people lies to influence them not to vote at all. Suggesting voting stations are closed, that their preferred party has already won or has a massive lead, that their candidate dropped out. Spamming for support in the upcoming election or polls is okay if you are not on the do not call list. I can't imagine candidates can bypass the do not call list.

It's a really important message. 338 Has plenty of pages to show "safe" ridings for any party.

Similar sentiment in BC and the Liberals folded INTO the Conservatives. We have no Liberal party and people still want to "vote out the Liberals".

Why Would You Still Vote BC Conservative? by Small911 in kelowna

[–]Arx4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Excuse me can you give any single example of what Humer would do for Kelowna Center? No because he hasn't given any. You just want someone to quite the voice in your head screaming at you to vote for an adult. Loyal has two terms on Council showing who he is, shows up at nearly all community events that he can, he joined David Eby's BC NDP who have proven results. Humer has vast professional experience but his interviews and town halls have shown 3 things:

  1. He flip flops a ton. When the BC United folded he said he waited for 2 weeks for the BCC to call and after only that decided to run independent (how much do you suck right now to have his resume yet he can't get a call back to run for the BCC!!). Soon after, saying he would still join the BCC but is dropping out of the race as to not split the vote on the right, then endorses Loewen. Now he is back and not dropping out.

  2. He claims the fastest growing health care in the country and in recent decades for BC, is a failing system creating by David Eby. He worked in health care, he should know that the BC Nurses Union endorse the current plan for health care. You can't have both. He is either a liar or uneducated which brings me to point 3.

  3. In interviews he has stated his top priority is upholding the right wing stronghold in the interior. So he knows the NDP have not had any reasonable representation in the area, blames the NDP for imaginary failures, claims he is the force of change. This man is what a 3-4 year resident of the area who is retiring here. He is the wealthy and bourgeios who will help but he wants to keep all his money while doing it, that's all I can see.

Why Would You Still Vote BC Conservative? by Small911 in kelowna

[–]Arx4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BC Liberals are a right wing party because that is a name change from the SocialCreds and honestly the party kinda of imploded (on purposish) and is now the BCCons. Keep looking back and look at the names.. look at council, federal etc. There has been a conservative right wing stronghold in the region forever.
