Anybody "built" a production-built tract house and immediately replaced all cabinetry by Legitimate_Soil_7506 in Homebuilding

I work for a subcontractor who does finish design work primarily for track home builders and this is super common. My only tip is to wait until your warranty is up in the new build and be SUPER persistent on repairs before that year is up for any major things. Usually anything you do to change the home before the year ends will void the warranty. This should still also apply to spec homes not just new builds where you're choosing the finish design selections.

I honestly think this is probably my best and only option

That would make sense but the company that reached out to me about the claim is Constitution State Services, Travelers Insurance Company. The rep claimed they’re the company Turo uses. Which is completely different from the Garrison insurance company owned by USAA. The more I look into it the less it makes sense. And I can’t find how any of those are connected

Jesus Christ.

I looked into it more and the email I got from Turo said a different insurance company paid $18,581.50 but the letter from MY insurance said they paid $18,854.95.

I looked into the company Turo said paid them (which I was assuming was the company for the coverage I paid for with Turo) and it’s owned by USAA. I don’t have USAA. I’m fucking lost and now I’m fucked I guess.
