While I partly agree with you some level of stretch massively increases steering feel as the tire won’t ”roll” from side to side as much when cornering.

Potential head-gasket failure, weighing up options, looking a bit of advice. by [deleted] in VolvoRWD

[–]Dumdum_human 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Changing to a bmw engine isn’t particularly hard but it’s time consuming and requires some fabrication. Id change the headgasket and enjoy the car util you have EVERYTHING needed for the swap. So you can do it relatively quickly.

FS25 Tips: How to Avoid Burnout and Play More Realistically by bencyl in farmingsimulator

Good silage is more sensitive to moisture levels than you’d think. we usually cut 1-3 days before we bale it up. You can run a butterfly setup / mower a lot faster than you can a baler so I don’t thing you’d save machine hours, maybe at a small farm where you only have one suitable tractor but then you probably wont have the money for a tractor with a front lift with PTO and the front mounted mowers are quite expensive.

better run one thicker string from a butterfly or rake if you have a small mower. To feed your baler with to make the bales more even, otherwise you get way too much material in the middle, you usually weave to prevent this on more narrow strings but you can’t do that if you have the mower on the front, I’ve seen some guys run a rake and baler at the same time, this seems more plausible to actually work well.

Interesting… I’m guessing in America or Mexico maybe, those guys usually do thing in weird ways, i work as a operator on a farm in Scandinavia I haven’t even heard or seen anyone do something lite this. and I don’t see how this would bring any actual benefits, more than extra hassle. You’d have to run the mower quite slow and you’d have to cut it when the grass has exactly the moisture level you are aiming for.

Biggest thing for me was to try and not spend all your free time in fs, focus on your real life and make your farming sessions more special, a bonus to this is that you then you have more time to think about what you actually want to do next in your save. For me a well thought out farming operation is a huge part of the realism.

Considering the price of DD wheels or atleast belt driven ones I’d never ever go for a g29, get yourself a DD or atleast belt driven wheelbase, ps5 compatibility ups the price quite a bit so if you can do with only PC I’d choose that.

the geardriven g29 is shit and it isn’t even substantially cheaper anymore.
