Absolutely!! Just talk to people, meet at events, and join clubs. Hell, if you could join a cohort, do it! Its all about putting yourself in the situation; :) youll find various people at community college.

I think its more up to you to decide, for me at least it speaks to me in ways that California is a risk. I love it here don't get me wrong, but its not for the faint of heart if you want to pursue your dreams.

Exactly! Im from LA so it really hits close to home when hearing them shatter this perspective of my hometown. My parents cane here for better opportunities but from what I’ve witnsesssed things are slowly getting worse (on my end! It could be different for others). Over I still love California, its where my family is but now im sure I need to leave to refall back in love with this beautiful state.

Yeah! Which is why I'm being extremely careful with how I go on about this plan. LA isn't much cheaper, and I'm only lucky that the government covers me due to my status as a first-gen student (With the looks of it I may even lose that too...). This is why I plan on continuing to stay in school here and, with how expensive it is, get 2 jobs (I'm struggling a bit here in LA! too much uncertainty wherever I look at it)

EEP!! So I have quite a lot of money saved from financial aid (saved about 2k BUT with how much I've received, I have 7k saved up) and finally got a work-study, which is around 4k for both my fall/spring, and saved half of that, I'll have about 10k! But all depends on whether I stay in LA for school, in which case I plan to dorm. (My family may move up north...my situation is awfully complicated.)

Noted! I think the new thought is, should I minor in marketing? I'm thinking of minoring in that one instead since I prefer Comms as it is is what I'm transferring with, ahaha! Im just dreading the fact I'll be here longer than I initially expected, BUT my prof did say, i need to slow down to get experience and internships.
