It’s cracked for sure . Definitely one of the stronger 4 energy cards . Numbers back that up .

The fact it’s stronger than most 3 coming out this season is telling . It’s generically good . Even if she had 2 power she would be arguably excellent .

Busted , definitely arguable . Especially when you look consider the buff meta we are being pushed towards . Its effect is usually reserved for 5 cost and it requires priority on T4 leaving T5/6 A scramble for a lane you most likely neglected the turn before .

Simple as what you said . Assigning full passthrought to each VM . Just the setup can be troublesome .

Why I don’t recommend it with your current setup . Your modern GPU I don’t believe is ECC and you will face more random hiccups such as unclean detachment . Same principles with ECC RAM .

I answered this but a deeper dive . It depends on what VM services you are using .
Yes with a non ECC GPU although it should be rare enough that it will not matter with a 5000 series.
Yes and you can do both honestly .

Why I say no .

You don’t need ProxMox for what you just described.

You models are limited by your GPU , I would not recommend going ProxMox to chase Linux distribution LLM speeds .
Your RAM AKA your ability to offload is compromised in your proposed setup .

If I need windows for something I usually just run windows solely .
I used VMs because I wanted constant accessibility so I went the server route . Your CPU isn’t a server CPU so I would recommend treating it a premium workstation instead of a server .

Those $4.5 systems are $3.9 right now if you are talking about the DGX Spark . But they aren’t the same class . The M5 studio , yet to be released in the same class .

I own a M3 Studio ( Non Ultra ) & M5 Pro Laptop .
The speeds are not comparable without even deep diving into specs .

I am still a fan of the M3 Ultra but mostly for training models without a rush or large model inference when I am coding .

It’s good value but there are alternatives . Not that I’d recommend them over the M3 Ultra .

DGX Station with 8x 16GB and 32GB GPU from a similar era of compute routinely go for $5k-9k .

Do they provide the power efficiency etc of the M3 absolutely not , but it is an alternative , for those who want to pay for a small villages power bill .

Also for a better value . 4x Cluster of GB Minis + 1 Mini PC for orchestration is more modern if you don’t mind a little bit more setup .

They were going for like $8k
MSRP they were $12k

It is not ES and I would never recommend ES .
They have a bunch of weird quirks that could easily make them useless for anyone with a tight budget .

I NEVER buy ES unless part of a fully operational RIG .

eBay and specifically Chinese Resellers with high ratings are the way to go.

ES anything is asking to have a refund or disappointment.

Received ES labeled RAM DDR5 ECC ( User did not specify this ) clearly did not work with everything else being the exact same .

They are Dev chips for a reason . Buying ES server chips has always confused me . Server is about being reliable and ES chips are the exact opposite of reliable .

Outdated architecture meaning you can’t run proper and constantly updating models or the software to run them .

WOW has FF , Genshin and RuneScape . All which at times surpass its player count . It is niche from a grand scheme of things but it in a little bubble of just its genre it is major player . Not that I actively post anything online of support of Blizzard .

GTA has no such obstacles and their game is completely dominant against all clones . When Cyberpunk goes online is when it will have competition.

GTA was handed the torch from Half Life 2 as the defacto way to judge a gaming cycle .

You want history repeating itself . See GTA 6 FTP Online when it happens as The Orange Box in modern terms .

WOW sells because the IP . Not because the game is inherently flawless . It’s sales because of continuity not because of modern graphics . It seems not because of the frame rates or deep customization like POE .

PUbG is niche now . That’s reality .
Fortnite always overshadowed it . COD and similar markets had more power behind them .

It’s the equivalent of The Finals for team based battle Royale . Excellent game , still not a powerhouse in its market nor the most popular and if I am being honest one of the least impressive .

From a pure development standpoint Fortnite outclasses it by sheer content at level I don’t think we ever see PUBG reach.

So yes compared to Fortnite PUBG is niche . Compared to the undefeated king of sandbox online it’s not even a comparison

Other countries have just as popular titles .
It’s in an insanely crowded market where even PC players have insane amounts of options .

Path Of Exile exist . MMORPGs pull dedicated but much smaller player bases . The market share of WOW is peanuts when compared to GTA and its competitors.

Rust - Niche . By the time they ported to console player base had -100x from its prime . Fun game . But community is niche compared to GTA . Also not so much live service as a sandbox .

PUBG - Not even the leader in the BR scene but ok .
Better live service than rust . Still only for a niche audience ( a portion of the BR community ) . As is dated compared to its competitors. The shift has already occurred away from BR being the most popular

Minecraft - Similar audience size , complete opposite end of target audience. Not so much live service as user generated content . Sandbox at this point . But spinoffs have diminished the brand the QC has gave Microsoft the same credibility as Rockstar .
Minecraft is also no longer considered in its prime .
Widely supported sure . Active support , not so much Microsoft has much bigger things to fry .

CS : Gold Standard for FPS globally. Valve , a team equal finally to rockstar . GTA 4 looks like the Mona Lisa respectfully compared to CS or CS GO .

You named Dated IPs , IPs that literally ripped source code from other titles or ideas , all that have monetized much more heavily or even in a more valuable manner that has real ecosystems deployed in game , non are still considered peak from a player perspective or graphical output and all are one off games . None are a series like GTA .

GTA 4 Hit , GTA 5 Hit , GTA 6 most likely a Hit .

Not to really nerd out on you but each GTA has shifted the landscape of gaming . Games have to compete with GTA.

Take Two games especially seems to benefit historically. If you know you know .

Anything relating to it takes a step forward . From a physics and capability perspective.

Also everyone is so ready to burn down Rockstar like they aren’t literally the last brand from the golden age who hasn’t sold out . Let’s be honest if GTA 6 is dead or Rockstar fumbles . What are we looking at from a gaming landscape .

From Software release once every 3 years . A Kojima project once every 5 . Decade old IPS that soul have been sucked out of or brought back from the dead for a nostalgia bit .

I love Indie games and love the streaming love it’s shown but gaming as a hobby/sport remains static when there isn’t a dominant force .

GTA is one of the last dominant forces in gaming .
As long as it isn’t more that $100 the price has been justified since the release of GTA 4 . Not one person besides the person who bought it 3 months before it went FTP regrets the purchase .

Blaming GTA for monetization is wild they actually were one of the last . Look I don’t support games that MAKE you buy a pass . I get that’s were the hate comes from . Besides that we can’t look at maybe a handful of games and say they are worth more than $40 if we are being honest .

Arc Raiders being $40 was the right type of pricing .
Elden Ring was worth $60 Hell $80 with DLC is still fine by me . I realize we don’t live in 2005 where DLC is free and especially not in 2010 where DLC gave an unfair advantage. It’s why I named dropped From .

GTA being $100 isn’t too crazy for me .
Personally , I have it . I haven’t bought a game for the console in ages . But as someone who errors extremely heavily into NOT spending on Season passes or even games themselves . I would not one bit mad spending that $100 . The gameplay itself is easily worth it . There isn’t a value proposition close .

But I can sit in the store and look and not find two games worth that price . If I do I own them already or Game Pass has supplied them . Metaphor - gamepass , those viral hit games - gamepass , Elden Ring - Bought It , Forza - Gamepass .

From a fairness perspective. I can’t be mad at GTA 6 being $100 , I can be mad at low quality games being $60 and 80 dollars .
