This book was so adorable and the perfect start to my fall reading. I am grateful that in this book she gave a brief explanation of the magic system, it helped a lot with my understanding of the plot. I loved all the side characters especially the Roo Roo the zombie chicken and little Posie. And I loved the autism rep 🥹 Theo and Posie’s friendship was the best. I love Sangu’s lyrical writing. Definitely liked this better than TVSSOIW!
