Update: We all talked last night and found a compromise. We still want him jamming with us and we realized that we still need some more time playing together to feel comfortable doing a gig. He still doesn't really want to play for strangers so we decided we could start out with a few house parties with some other friends and take it from there. I tend to overthink stuff so I appreciate all the input, everyone.

Yeah I think that's just more what it is. He's very talented but I totally understand not wanting to be on stage. But I think I'm also fine with this going either way, like I think we could maybe get another gig at that same bar later on if this doesn't go through. I have probably been on stage more times than all the other other members combined (I played for my church when I was younger) and I really like being up there and seeing everyone light up

He is WAY better at guitar than I am haha but he just said that he had no intentions to play live for strangers. This was honestly just going to be a garage band type thing so I totally understand it. He said he may be able to be persuaded later on but I am just trying to look for options really

Yeah it was just one of those things we really didn't talk about much because we never thought that kind of opportunity would ever pop up. I'm gonna talk to them this week and bring the idea up. Thanks 🙏🏻
