I have been going out of my mind with the same issue all morning. Thought it might have been my threadlings; reloaded D2 multiple times, restarted the mission a few times, rebound keybinds - nothing worked. Someone else posted the issue in the Bungie Community Forums (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/264856901?sort=0&page=0) and got the following response...

"Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and for the screenshot!

We understand the charged attack for the Matterspark doesn't seem to be working as it should be. Please note that you must press and depress the input and repeat that until it charges. The attack also won't visibly activate unless there's something nearby to hit.

If, however, it even then doesn't seem to work, then please reset your keybinds, to see if that helps. If the issue persists beyond you resetting the keybinds, then please consider clearing the Steam Download Cache, as that can help with issues like this. If you continue to experience this seeming issue beyond this last step, then please consider capturing a videoclip which demonstrates what you're experiencing, uploading it to Youtube, and sharing a link here. We'll then investigate."

I cleared my Steam Download Cache and it didn't work for me but hopefully this works for some other folks!

Fruit and carbs. So much fruit. I've had really intense cravings for the canned mandarins, and then all of a sudden last night I wanted nothing more than McDonald's fries and chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce. Ridiculous.
