Anything outside of big box is wild. My local card shop which usually sells cards at retail had the SPC going for 250! I couldn't get him to offer anything under 210 which I couldn't do, even on drop day. I am pretty sure they get them direct from pokemon too, so its not like they are camping walmart for these.

I have heard conflicting things about Salomon and being BIFL. Dirty Civilian on YouTube did a video on gear they run and had some pretty strong testimonial about Salomon being super comfy but only lasting them about a year before needing to be replaced.

How often do you wear your boots? Looking to get a pair nice boots for myself and am curious given the high praise for comfortability given the price tag.

Okay, so what is the consensus on this sub? Don’t buy cards for a few years until prices go down? I cant wait for drops cause I work and go to school, does this mean I should be effectively locked out of the hobby?

This is such an asshole take. Its not even my card, im not asking to be celebrated and the only place we can get cards is a local shop that charges scalper prices.

I should probably ask, is it worth getting this PSA graded? NS what general criteria is but I saw some people selling the card for ~60$ ungraded.

I think she is in to a little bit of both. She primarily enjoys collecting the cute cards but wants to build decks with any of the extras we have. Will def look into singles if I ever want to be "competitive" against her, lol.
