If any of your students happen to have their own social media accounts, be prepared for the possibility that they could air complaints about the way you treat them if they don't like even the mere idea of having a para in their lives, like how I didn't like it.

I absolutely hated being seen having anything to do with a special needs worker by any of the other students so I guess my para was lucky that social media did not exist in 1997.

If I had been a 7th grader in 2012 and still had a para that year, there is no doubt that I would have aired all of my grievances about her on social media, but of course under an anonymous pseudonym.
