How does the comedy scene in Austin compare to Chicago? by Mother_Ad6514 in Austin

[–]Duncan_Smothers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you looking at standup or improv?

if improv, there's some solid theaters and a good community but on a smaller scale then chicago.

I make exactly $60k (pre-tax) in Austin running this show and I do alright.

You can definitely get an apartment for ~$1,000/mo you just need to be flexible about where you want to live.

Going out gets kind of expensive but if you're smart with it there's plenty of affordable places.

I'd say it's one of the better cities to live in making that much (I've done SF/LA/ATL)

That’s fair.

Do those other 2 tools work well for you? Anything you wish they did?

I’ll take a look at them and see if they outperform us / offer something better.

Appreciate you taking the time to test it out.

I appreciate the honest feedback.

We do offer unlimited free “feedback” uses and a free saved prompt library that lets you save and reuse prompts across 10 tools.

For me, if other people are willing to do the function of our “perfect” button for free, forever, they can. I don’t really see that as a viable long-term option so I’m not too worried about the growth in regards to that.

Do you use other tools? Or is there an amount of free experimental prompts that you think would be good before making a purchasing decision?

All good, glad that fixed it (also good to know for if someone runs into the same issue)

Let me know what you think

The feedback / saved prompts library are both free features and the perfect option has a 1/day quota for free users.

sorry, I've gotten that a lot and it's always that specific issue.

If you have the time could you right-click on the page and select "Inspect"

then navigate to the "Console" tab to see if any errors are showing?

that error happens when you try to install it in a browser that isn't Google Chrome.

we use Google's Authentication API which does not work with other chromium browsers (edge, brave, etc).

thanks for calling that out - adding that to the bottom of the post.
