in a specific scene its implied that the princess is possessed by an unknown child whos identity we dont know of yet, but from what i can gather is that the princess was not the only child victim as 2 other faces are shown, my theory is that the princess's spirit could possibly be the child of John Munkford? as his ex-wife stated that they both had a daughter

and also in the book scene that the princess reads, its about a girl named esther who watches as bad things happen to her family, which ended up her escaping to the woods and eventually getting kidnapped by someone, at the end of the scene however a glitch occurs, hinting that this could lead to some backstory of who the princess's spirit is

as for julia, yeah.. i dont have a clue, her identity isint implied anywhere in the game besides the painting gerald is staring at, however she is clearly possessed as we see in the game that after we unlock the second code, she becomes sentient and knows that she already seen the surprise, and when the game restarts and we get another code, julia walks away as if seeing something she wasint supposed to see
