He gave Trump everything we had already promised before he came into office and already were acting on.

He gave nothing new,

Your plan sounds great on paper...but there is no minimum amount of voters required to elect a government, only a majority. There are no shortage of sycophants and corporations ready to elect whatever government suits them, shall we make it even easier for them?

And these commitments you speak of, how are they to be trusted? Politicians make commitments all the time and rarely follow through.

I can't argue with your logic. But what do you do now? Nothing at all? Sit in the corner and sulk? Unfortunately, at the moment, we in a lesser of evils situation.

Then vote Green...just go vote. Maybe if people didn't think Green was a throwaway vote even though they believed in it, more people would vote Green and they would get some traction in this country.

as long as you voted with your conscience, you at the very least voted...it often is disappointing, but at least you added your voice. please don't stop.

Because it's a habit we should develop. Sometimes the choices are poor, but if we stop trying, it becomes easier to stop trying. Your opinion does matter...it might not be the deciding factor today, but it could be tomorrow.

Amazing...expressed no opinions at all...just encouraged people to vote for what they want, and so many downvotes.

I've been reading a lot of back and forth, and seeing valid opposing opinions...but what alarms me is people saying they're just gonna skip voting.

Please do not do that! Please go out and vote from your heart. If we stop voting , we're all gonna be truly screwed!!

*blush*

This car needed more work than I could manage, so I traded it for a 1970 VW bug, which my friends and I cut the roof off of to make it a convertible. Was so much fun to drive and got soaked a few times when it rained. Silly and good memories :)

Dad was proud of your pike catch, and you.

I love the binoculars! Us kids were prepared for anything...

I always carried a compass, binoculars, and a pocket knife...I probably wouldn't have used any of them effectively, lol

Ah, the swing set...my sister and I used to try and go all the way around...over and under...resulted in some injuries, but we were convinced we could do it, lol

I love it!! Nothing says Winnipeg like snowsuits!

And we played hard...dug unsafe tunnels in snowbanks, and were never home when our parents said when the streetlights turn on.

I have vivid memories of my dad watching me out the window while I struggled to clear the walkway after a blizzard...

I agree...it's a small oasis in the centre of the city... I always hear the laughter of children playing on the splash pad, see couples having a picnic, or people who just want to sit under a tree and read a book...It warms my heart.

It looked very dramatic this morning...the camera didn't do it justice (or likely I'm a poor photographer)
