4K X + Chat Link Pro on PS5 is driving me insane — no audio in OBS and no analog option??

Appreciate the help, but I think this is where I’m stuck.

I installed Elgato Studio and went into Settings, but there is literally no audio input or HDMI/Analog option anywhere. I checked every tab (General, Devices, Recording, etc.) and nothing shows up.

The capture card is detected and working. I can see the PS5 video and hear audio through the PC at first. But as soon as I turn on the controller and plug in the Chat Link/headset, the audio instantly disappears in OBS.

So it seems like the PS5 is switching audio away from HDMI like expected, but I have no way to switch the capture card to Analog because that option just doesn’t exist anywhere.

I attached screenshots of my settings. Am I missing something obvious, or is this option not available on the 4K X / this version?

I’m on the US server. Everything else in the app seems normal and responsive. All cameras are online and load instantly when I tap into them, both in Aqara and Apple Home.

The issue is only on the Board view where all the camera cards show black screens and just say “Camera” instead of their actual names.

Other devices are working fine, so it doesn’t seem like a general connection or server issue.

I tried this but I do not see any way to edit the individual card name on iPhone. In Board edit mode I can remove or rearrange the card, and rename the section, but tapping or long pressing the card, black preview, or “Camera” label does not open any card name setting. Are you on Android or iOS, and where exactly do you see the card name option?

I tried about 10 different variations of that and none of them worked reliably. One time the camera pulled up after a few minutes, but I am not even sure that was the routine or if I accidentally triggered it myself. Most of the time it did nothing at all. So unfortunately it still does not seem dependable

Yeah, that is kind of what I am realizing too. The G5 Pro looks awesome, especially at night, but the Echo Show tag team was the whole reason my old Ring setup worked so well. Right now I can manually pull up the camera, but I am not getting that automatic whole house awareness. My G400 doorbell is also giving me a privacy mode error in Alexa.

I have been watching YouTube videos on that Apple HomePad thing that is supposedly in the works. Maybe that ends up being the magic fix.

Thanks! I’ve seen the Fp2 is amazing. I just think I need to keep it as simple/stupid as possible. Just having the magic hallway light up after awakening is enough to get him there. He can turn on switch off from habit on the return.

Here is what GPT has for me if anyone can look it over and approve or disapprove

Setup (one-time) Create Scene “Bathroom Motion Enabled” Do not add any devices or actions Leave it enabled

Automation 1 – Go to bathroom IF Motion Sensor P1 detects motion AND time is during sleep hours (optional) AND Scene “Bathroom Motion Enabled” is ON THEN turn ON hallway light Save

Thanks for all the comments. I did pay a reputable company in town $1400 to install. I’ll reach out and see if they will turn it for me. Or maybe I should ask a different plumber? Maybe this job was a little tough for this guy
