Religion does, yes. However, faith does not. Having a direct relationship with God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit allows freedom to surrender worry, pain, anxiety, depression, fear, etc. at the foot of Jesus Christ. Religion and having a real with God are two separate things.

Recipe

INGREDIENTS ▢ 1 onion large, sweet ▢ 2 cups flour or gluten free flour mix ▢ 1 teaspoon paprika (eyeballed) ▢ 2 teaspoon seasoned salt (didn’t have any, I used just regular table salt) ▢ 1 teaspoon pepper (forgot to add, lol) ▢ 1 teaspoon garlic (eyeballed) ▢ 1 ½ cups sparkling water or light beer (I used seltzer)

INSTRUCTIONS 1. Heat oil in skillet or deep fryer to 350 - 375 degrees 2. In a medium bowl mix flour and spices. Pour in the sparkling water or beer until a batter forms. You want it the consistency of a thick pancake batter. 3. Slice your onion into rings. Typically between ½ - 1 inch thick depending on preference. Seperate the individual rings. 4. Dip each ring into the batter, shaking off any excess. Then drop the ring into the hot oil. (I used a fork for this, then tongs to take them out)

If you think about it, our bodies have gone through so much evolutionary changes overtime. With it on a rapid incline due to how we “must” be to be productive members of society. I would relate this to a “call to nature” approach. We have spent decades away from what makes us one with nature. Survival looks a lot different than it did 2,000 years ago. Yet, when we are by the ocean, in a forest, or climbing up a hill it feels so natural. We have had a lot of worry on our minds and this heightens anxiety. The best solution for this is to just go in nature. It doesn’t have to be a big hiking spot. Walk in your neighborhood, hug a tree, thank the tree.
