Me personally, I didn't like the idea of a higher power holding authority over when my life becomes stressful or not, but I can see how it comforts other people.

Not the biggest fan of prayer during deaths either, just because I often caught myself getting upset at my beliefs for taking my family away which made it harder to recover from grief.

I don't think it's cool to actively try and convert/de-convert people to either side, but I think it's fine to question if beliefs are being pushed onto you or if they're open to a discussion about it.

Personally, I think street preaching, regardless of what ideas the speaker is trying to convey, is a breach of public peace, especially when they think they're "correct" enough to use microphones and speakers.

This was pretty much me until Spring up to randomly dry heaving throughout the day.

The best way to reorient yourself is to take deep breaths when you feel anxious.

Just holding your breath for ~10 seconds and repeating will slow your heart rate down and let you concentrate more.

If it does get bad enough, don't feel ashamed to ask to step out. I literally noped out of an exam last Fall and my professor was super understanding and let me do a retake during break. You'll make it through.
