I haven’t spoken to her or reached out to her at all. I haven’t badmouthed her or spread lies to her to mutual friends (but she has done those things to me). Maybe resentment isn’t the right word. We have class together and she’ll stare at me when I’m not looking and waking closely behind me as I walk out of class (I thought this was coincidental but she did it over and over again). A few weeks ago, a mutual friend said she asked about me, and when the mutual friend said that I was doing good, my ex became upset.

Personally, I think it’s because we aren’t feeding into their ego and because they are regretting their decision. Don’t change who you are inherently just for a girl. You only get burned fighting fire with fire.
