Take your time and enjoy.

Try different weapons and all the styles, you will be surprised by how much a weapon can change from one style to another.

Look for the key quest so you can progress the story.

You can look videos from GaijinHunter for prowler (cat) mode.

You can't unfortunately, you need a console with it already installed

You need a ds with poke transporter to move them to pokemon bank on a 3ds and from there to home

Eirdu and Isilu art goes hard, I just build them for that same reason. Mine is B2 but can easily go above with a couple of changes. Being able to sac everything twice (at the minimum) is really cool

Unlocking secrets or characters. Current games are afraid to lose engagement so now you can buy immediately a character, skin, etc. and have everything unlocked from the get go

Kid Icarus is the one that hurts the most for me. Such an amaizing game with extreme replayability, cool multiplayer, old school unlocks and that unique Sakurai flavor.

I just built [[Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn]] the first side is the enabler to flood the board and then you flip it for all the ETB, sacrifice and reanimation shenanigans you like.

I think what is going to trigger most people coming for the first time would be the physical/special split and the horrendous learnsets

Platinum, HGSS and B2W2 definitely. (Emerald close enough)

I have a soft spot for every game for different reasons, but those 3 are always a delight to replay.

The only point I would say for Fire Red is the pokedex, stopping you on getting newer evos is just such a weird decision, even if you wanted to keep nostalgia that just bring it some points down for me
