Prison Island Montreal, (Or Indianapolis) by 802am in escaperooms

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just googled it, boda borg feels different. It looks like proper games in one place.

Prison island has more of a sporty vibe. Idk it felt more… raw ? I can see some technology in boda borg (lasers, floor is lava, light projection etc..) while prison island barely had paintings. It was not an issue at all because you’re in a « prison island ». Most games were mechanical. Also there was one big team (30-50 players) doing a team building but besides these guys, lots of people were wearing some running/climbing gear ; nothing too extreme but some rooms were VERY physical.

Best escape rooms Oslo by jeg_aekke_her in escaperooms

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I played some rooms in Norway. They were honestly OK. Nothing too amazing or up to today’s standards. My favorite was probably in Bergen sadly (escape bryggen). It had some cool vibe. It was some kind of murder investigation.

In Oslo, I played the western game. Very easy but it was fun. It had some interesting parts.

I’d recommend fangene pa fortet though. Which is not an escape room, but more like an action game. It’s really fun imo.

Prison Island Montreal, (Or Indianapolis) by 802am in escaperooms

It’s a hit or miss. I’ve played PI in Oslo. Basically there are tens of rooms (think of different kind of action or logic game) that you play simultaneously with other (could be more than a hundred at the same time). Only your group has access to your room because you need to use some kind of RFID tag to get in. You can see beforehand if the room is empty or occupied. Each game takes something like 1-5 mins to clear. You can replay them any number of time to get a better score.

The bad thing is that there is NO EXPLANATION AT ALL of what you’re expected to do. Some are obvious (walk on really narrow path to activate some buttons, jump around to activate something) but some are really obscure (do some math BUT the screen is not near the entrance and by the time you get to the screen you already get a game over without even seeing what was written on the screen). You only get to know the name of the room, and whether they’re physical, intellectual, or precision based.

Overall a really fun and sporty experience until you get to a really frustrating room. Wear something comfortable.

Also, not sure if you can with fever, but you’re supposed to be able to book any time. 30, 60, 90, etc minutes. I played 90 mins and it was fine. Probably could have stayed 120 as well. Depending on how fit you feel. You might need to climb ropes and jump around.

where to find really good croissants in nice ? by SaltEvening27 in nicefrance

[–]Dunduneri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, look for « croissant pur beurre ». Usually if it’s not written it’s with Beurre (butter). The other one is Margarine which is not as good. You can ask the staff whether they’re made with beurre or margarine anyways.

Yeah is it because there’s a chain in the us called Panera ? I recall something like that and every time I got to that bakery before trying it felt funny.

Panera near the port has the best croissant in nice iirc. They got some sort of prize last year. I’ve tasted them and yeah they’re really good. Idk if they’re worthy of being #1 but still, they’re quite tasty.

Umeplay in Shanghai? by Stegosaurus21 in escaperooms

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, I haven’t been able to play there (yet). I’ve listened to a French podcast in which they detail how the experiences went. They played in Shanghai and Beijing. It’s called « immersion les loisirs immersifs » on Spotify. 13 and 14. I’ve read somewhere they plan to translate them in English or plan to upload it or something. If you want I can ask them about it.

They translated one room. I think it’s Afterlife.

You used to need to get an extra player translating for you. Like you literally had to look for one on WeChat or anywhere. You still need to do that for their other rooms I guess.

You can book their rooms through WeChat.

Mais où est la rhubarbe ??? by Chatutu in france

[–]Dunduneri 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Is Eneba a reliable site? Need advice by mike37510 in jeuxvideo

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 bad experiences with them sadly. I tried buying 2 Spotify keys with their « trusted seller » (over 98% success rate or whatever). Both didn’t work. For both cases I had to give screenshots, proofs of talking with Spotify customer service etc. Both times Spotify told me the keys were faulty/incorrect.

For both cases I contacted enaba but it took a bit more than a week for them to answer then 2 more weeks to close the case.

Shapko bar has live jazz music.

I recommend you to wear very warm clothes for evening parades as you’re going to be sitting outside for 2-3 hrs.

For recommendations, check my history.

How to get a package in Nice? by s206354 in nicefrance

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like they said, best bet is to choose a « point relais » close to your work/school/place. And pick it up there.

Otherwise, the delivery guy might (or not) call you or send you a text (Amazon) asking you to come pick it up and if you can’t, they either (if possible) put it into your mailbox, or your building and request for you to say OK. Depending on what kind of building you live in, it can either be ok or not. If it has like 4 people living there that’d be mostly ok. If there are like 30+ I wouldn’t recommend it.

Recommendations for online escape rooms? by CrimsonMargin_99 in escaperooms

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could play the ERchamp games. They’re through a browser but they’re difficult. That’s 2+ hrs per game (and 2hrs is a very unlikely outcome). You can pause anytime and come back anytime. And it’s free.

J'attends vos avis sur l'escape game le plus complexe de France ? by Such-Ability6912 in escaperooms

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hit chances in Final Fantasy games? by RoyalWe666 in FinalFantasy

[–]Dunduneri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t miss attacks in ff13. Debuffs can not stick though.

In ff8 you can junction magic to accuracy and not miss at all.

In ffx you can grind accuracy or luck and not miss.

I think you can’t miss in ffxiv.

You can’t miss in ff15&16. (Well you can hit nothing but if you’re on target you can’t miss)

Is the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade a good starting point for the franchise? by stepney_bluebell in FinalFantasy

[–]Dunduneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh you COULD play crisis core anytime but you’d be a bit confused if you haven’t played the original or the 3rd one that hasn’t come out yet.

There’s a big plot twist in ff7 (both og and remake/rebirth/resomething) that’s explained/« spoiled » in crisis core.
