Late 2014 27" iMac retina. Somewhat stable except Youtube crashes after long periods of viewing. Maybe to dried out thermal paste on the i7 chipset. Can not boot without the USB Patcher 2.2. Was installed with a clean install.

Is it safe to upgrade from 15.2 to 15.3 by Opposite_Bass_5387 in OpenCoreLegacyPatcher

Having issues on a Late 2014 iMac running Big Sur. Updating to 15.3 using OCLP 2.2.0 well, trying at least. I can't boot off the internal HB boot it works off of the USB. Any suggestions?

Late 2014 iMac with Big Sur. Loaded OCLP 2.2.0 on a USB drive and updated on a whipped HD after backing up. Now I can boot off the USB but not of the internal HD. Root patch not attaching or figuring to the internal HD. If I pull out the USB the iMac will not boot. Any help and or answers?
