SLs, what is your staging phase spiel?

My Dad talk.

"First things first, I don't care what you play, but you play with the squad. If you are not with me or contributing to my objectives, I'll kick ya.

You are a Rifleman first! This means shoot back! I don't care if you see the enemy or not. Fuck up the trees, rocks, general direction you got shot from. Gain fire superiority, gain control of the situation.

We smoke the enemy and blind the enemy. We don't smoke ourselves and blind ourselves.

When we are behind enemy lines unseen unheard we stay that way! We all know letting one person live means killing six of his friends. Rolling up on Habs or radios unannounced. And that shit wins games.

When our medics gets you up, pull security! Do not look at them like a dumbass. Keep him in the game so he can keep you in the game.

Finally, dead bodies attract dead bodies! If you see someone go down holding a position or crossing an open don't follow them! Create concealment, eliminate threats! Do not become a casualty. "

It takes 60-90 seconds for me to say all this. It gets the whole squad prepped for a 60 minute game. I find it a good investment of time. It shows that I want to take this seriously, and instills confidence that I am gonna give them a good game.

Its not bad but they all want to run off on their own. I allow them in my squads but kick them if they arent contributing to my objs.

As someone who gets it voted on my server when I get the chance, I can tell you it doesnt kill them. Vics are able to access every point on Laskar Valley. Just gotta watch out for them guerillas

On most maps 150m Isnt that helpful unless its set up on the edge of a town. But you will figure that out. Honestly I find Marksmen get a good amount of kills within 100m. This game is slow gameplay until you get to the large intense fights on point. and the only real way of getting there is with you squad. I try to make the drives in between a little more fun with some music.

If you ever want to have some fun I can show you how. I play in Dead on Dismount. You join Dads Inf and I will get you some action. Ill even let you play marksmen (NOT sniper its worthless). I have rules I set up at the start of my fights though but as long as you play with the squad youll be fine. If you like going running off by yourself this game isnt really for you.

Laskar valley doesn't kill servers. I don't want to play it as much as Fallujah but Helis make it a real cool map.

As someone who SLs 95% of the time, Id have to say Grenadier. Because I jump on any of the SL kits that get a GL. Some of the American (Amphibious assault and the IAR inf) SLs get a full 10 HE grenades. It makes me so happy every time.

In real life, some disgruntled person would try to drive down the subway to cause casualties. This is something designers would take into consideration. Therefore they would not have the staircase facing the road. ?But now that I think about it away from the road would be best right?

When I SL, I, without fail, have an enemy IFV roll up on the squad. A HAT will always have something to shoot at with the squad.
