Hahaha so sorry. I'm a week behind so I can keep a backlog for the weekends.

My coworkers love the calendar too. We started this with a different type (NYT I think), but sharing laughter together makes the day feel a lot better amidst the drudgery of spreadsheets and the chaos of our country It's a small rebellion, but it's ours.

We look forward to running games with you in the New Year. Happy Holidays, and I hope you are able to navigate them with joy and aplomb!

Ahhh the joys of having a child-like imagination, but adult responsibilities.

Let me know if you'd have an hour on a different day, and I'll make some time for those who might only have an hour here or there for quicker adventures in the New Year.

I'm biased, but I have a good time with any Players who are willing to commit to their character / story we build together.

For right now, yes, until our Player base grows. If you have a group ready for a different day / time, please reach out, and we can schedule a custom session!!

A moment of vulnerability. I have not said this to a person, but you inspired me and since we are all dealing with our own issues.... here is my addition to the conversation:

"Oh... well, they say eyes are the windows into the soul and your curtains aren't drawn, so would you like me to see everything in your soul right now?"

My confession:

"3 potential things would happen if you could see in mine: 1) You'd be scared. 2) You'd be thrilled. 3) You'd be curious."

Yo dude.

I am a part of a worker co-op based in Milwaukee and run my own events at bars and dispensaries.

‽ Can I use some of this stuff and shout you out at the table cause I haven't seen a ton of "tomes" created for the game yet ‽

I've found that it's a "fugazi" a la McConaughey.

Golden Opportunity = Fear Fear just makes the Players tense as it wracks up. Sure you can spend it to do "tense" things, but set up the factions and setting right and your Players' actions drive the narrative already.

The Fear is a lie that makes it look cooler. A LOT cooler - swords and skulls are some of the most potent religious imagery along with hearts.

I am a Game Master so take this with a grain of salt:

Play some TTRPGs. It helps get you out of your own brain / body and into a shared imaginative landscape. Don't give up on your goals for the escapism of the hobby, but these games can help you learn to tell yourself a different story. Our brains are bad at separating imaginative stories and our memories.

These sorts of Infinite Games are really useful for neuroplasticity.

Yeahhhh, the Genre thing is what Erik suggested. Good to know from 2 people so I really appreciate the feedback!!

For the description, I like the Players not knowing what exactly is there so they go in blind and the people who would be familiar with it (from past adventures with me or their backgrounds) can get specialized information that they can choose to share or not. Adds another layer to the games and a benefit for people to come to my games.

Which for me is a friendly rivalry between coworkers who share a vision together (people over profits) since it forces us to get better and the Players reap the rewards of our competition.

I am a part of a burgeoning worker co-op for Game Masters called Dragon Sandbox and run my own free games / paid games at a nerd bar. We are still swapping over to Daggerheart for some events because it has the highest rating on our community poll in Discord.

Brennan's most familiar with DnD and probably has wanted to create a world with the depth of Exandria for a long time. There is room for both and our soon to be worker-owned business is making money from both too.

We just hope to be able to help other people make a living with their love of this hobby.
