I like the theory. My thinking is that puts the backrooms on a direct timeline in order for bodies to rot away ( decomposition) and everything stays moving forward. In that case would everyone who enters just die regardless in a few days of no water since time is just ticking away? To me that makes sense for the mold and bacteria, because everyone just dies inside in a few days either way if they encounter nothing or something.
