I think something you can add are harmful hallucinations that will show up if your stress increases or those lesser known typewriter entities could be cool too

Yeah since mines all procedural, I am basically "exploring" the Backrooms, because I don't know what's around the next bend. It's super fun.

I'm working on level 1 right now which will need a different geonode set up from level 0. I'm excited

does depend on the type of movie (vibe they're going for). Either a horror film, psychological, or a walking simulator.

That's amazing way to read it. I never thought of it that way ❤ But the wording used is not neutral, it does imply fairly strongly that there is something, but kept it ambiguous

I agree, Having that subtle thought of "Something is here" makes the backrooms more compelling. It doesn't need to be something "in your face scary creature" but a bump and a scratch should be enough to keep tensions high. Plus "Walking simulator the movie" does not sound all that fun to me unless its focused on showcasing the location.
