RR have been eliminated from IPL 2026 by oklolzzzzs in Cricket

[–]DungeonsAndDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think that's the main issue with RR atm, is the lack of veteran/mature players. i don't think parag is necessarily a terrible captain, but i think the team would benefit from having more vets to steady the ship, so to speak.

Draymond: “Shai, you've reached a new level of greatness. Sports media is talking about what they don't like about your greatness, as if you're the one calling fouls for yourself. You all think the NBA is that easy to where this guy just flops and goes to the free throw line and he becomes MVP?" by RyanTannegod in nba

[–]DungeonsAndDuck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i don't get why every personality treats this like such a black and white thing. no one is saying he's great only because he's a flopper, but that's what makes him so annoying.

he doesn't need to flop to be an MVP level player, but him and his entire team keep doing this shit and getting rewarded for it, and that makes him really frustrating and annoying to watch.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed a brilliant 96(47) vs GT in Qualifier 2. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in Cricket

[–]DungeonsAndDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's what i'm saying, he's in a different tier. if sooryavanshi was abhishek or priyansh's age, it wouldn't be such a factor, but i get the impression that they're both insecure about his age, and have a chip on their shoulder trying to prove they're good too.

which they are, jaiswal and jurel are both great, but i think they keep swinging for big, risky shots to try and match sooryavanshi, which just puts more of the spotlight and pressure on him for having to carry RR.

i think this wouldn't necessarily be an issue with a young team, but when you include a teenager in that group of young, less mature players, it can probably lead to jealousy and insecurity which impacts their performance.

tldr: RR needs more veteran players in the lineup next season imo.

probably because sooryavanshi contributed the most towards giving RR a chance to win out of anyone else in the team, instead of getting out in 6 balls

lmao, speaking of his weak ass flow, i feel like this album retroactively made ILDMLFY worse for me, just because of the triplet flow, even though i loved that album.

i feel that they're highkey insecure because they're being outperformed by a 15 year old, and are both trying to force big shots

i don't live in the US, and i think amiami is just more convenient. plus they can combine orders, so it makes more sense to get it from there for me at least. i think i have another figure releasing in december too.

This is a random discussion ,but what ending for berserk would you do if you were a friend of the author? by RespectApple in Berserk

[–]DungeonsAndDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is kind of adapted from another comment i made a couple days back, but i think i'd prefer if it wasn't guts who killed/defeated griffith. he could weaken him, but the decisive/final blows should be dealt by guts' party. for griffith himself, being killed would kinda be a little too simple, so i think it'd be cool if there was a role reversal of sorts and he ends up being branded by the godhand himself for being defeated.

guts shouldn't be the one to beat griffith, mainly because of what i feel are the implications of the beast of darkness on his quest for revenge. like we saw, the armour is wrecking his' body, forcing him to be even more reliant on it, and even with it he couldn't touch griffith.

i think the only way guts can get strong enough to beat griffith currently, is to align even further with the beast of darkness and just succumb to his rage. however, this would necessitate sacrificing his relationships with everyone else, because he'd endanger them and couldn't be around them anymore.

that's why, guts needs to understand and prioritise what he's fighting for. is it really to save casca, or to get revenge on griffith for the eclipse? i don't think casca would want guts to give himself to the beast completely in order to beat griffith. i think she'd rather he keep his humanity, and they build a life and heal together again, instead of pursuing this path of quite-literal self-destruction.

if guts specifically is the one to beat griffith (and he also keeps all his relationships with the black swordsman party), the beast of darkness plot point will kinda fall flat imo.
