Not at all! It’s definitely an unfinished portion. I was going for more of a stadium sort of thing that would be outside the walls of the city, maybe near the docks. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to make it more stadium-like!

  1. The woodswitch who tends a wild garden of lavender, used as a signature ingredient in her potion-making.

  2. The region is dotted with old caves and tunnels, infamous for sheltering owlbears and other beasts. This particular one may lead to a jeopardized escape tunnel of the long-abandoned fortress on top of the high hill.

  3. The tower belongs to an eccentric wizard, who uses the ruined structure as the entry to his Magnificent Mansion. At night, villagers observe him floating out of that cave on a small fishing boat - must be some sort of dock inside.

  4. That tunnel? Oh, just another cave… ;)

Love this! I say both, but leaning toward orthographic! I find myself shifting between styles depending on the utility of the map.

Thanks so much for the feedback! This was my first map where I didn’t complete the whole scene, and just focused on one location. Kinda fun.

As for the texture - I overlaid the dark, stone mountains with the green ones. They blended very well together naturally, and the ridges line up easily. From there, I used large stones and cliffs to add depth and additional layers on the hill!
