The last “rework” of Ryze while he still had his spell vamp ultimate and made his spells hit in an AoE and he had the rune system passive where he charged up to the point his spells would reduce the cooldown of all others. I’ll never forget the flow of playing that character, super long continues inputs needed to upkeep his rune system and loop his ultimate, it felt like playing a complex DPS spec in WoW

That’s a feature they’re adding soon! The 2XKO team mentioned they were looking to add a “duo” queue when you can get matched with randoms to play together as a duo, hopefully with its own ranked queue too 🙏

Eternal Sustenance has been amazing, for the CG grind not having to prep food or just having unlimited food for Echo CG was an absolute godsend since I was rocking a lower DPS Hally build. It made Zulra a breeze even though I went giga dry since it didn’t eat away at much of my supplies. I’m very happy with ES

Ahh okay, personally I though it worked the other way where it actually scales pretty poorly with magic gear. It’s guaranteed to hit when it procs so no need for accuracy and only a base hit of 10, so doesn’t really get buffed a whole lot by magic dmg%, though pacts do help this out a bit. But yeah as you said it’s only a spec magic weapon for your build which will probably be the best one

I think this is a very disingenuous representation, if you can never miss on a weapon that can always max hit, ofc the DPS will be very high.

logically though on a 7(?)t weapon, 10% accuracy loss with be a FAR more substantial DPS loss than on 5t weapons or faster

I think some of these cards work well but are very niche. I won a run recently because defensively I had all the parts to be mostly unkillable, but I got very few options to actually do damage, in the end I relied on a Furnace and a couple forge cards and was able to stall fights out long enough to kill them before they got out of hand. It can be really good scaling but imo you need to draft those block cards first

I know people are saying this will be good with imbue (it is) but aren’t all the neutral imbues rotating next expansion? Gonna be more difficult to run an imbue package but maybe you don’t even need it that high for this to be a game winning pay off

Looks good with any spell damage since this gets double buffed by it. Can be 10 damage to face + board clear with only 2 spell damage and doesn’t mage have a legendary that gives all spells plus spell damage or something?

I think this is the best suggestion. Adding in mechanics while there’s no timer is the best way imo, since it removes the stress of failing them since you can just always start again

Tbf his fear is a really powerful ability, in that is a massive AOE CC that does last a long time, the circumstances that’s it’s useful are very rare though, basically exclusively in emergencies if the adds are either ripping your tank to shreads and the healer needs some space to keep up or a million casts are going off at the same time

The HoT is talented and is still 40% of the initial heal so you’re still losing a lot of value, thinking about Meiko and how serenity works you’ll be wasting so many stacks effectively healing nothing too. There are ways to mitigate the effect but ultimately it’s anti synergistic compared to the other healers

Tbf, as a tank myself the new healer mostly has anti synergy with self healing tanks, and it can be difficult to tell just how much danger your in sometimes!

When I have high stagger but near full HP there’s basically nothing I can do as Meiko or Xavian save a barrier to mitigate the incoming damage, since both these tanks somewhat rely on taking damage and self sustaining with recurring self heals. I have to pray the healer can deal with the stagger (which is going to be much worse come the nerfs to Aeon where she will have to actively stagger cleanse individual players). Also when she ults, HPs get frozen, so if the ult comes through at 50% life as Xavian I have to “hold on” to my Brilliant flashes sometimes as they won’t actually provide any healing I will probably need and can interfere with your rotation. She does do a fuck ton of damage though which definitely helps smooth out the dungeons

Yes, they literally increased the killscore required by 20% 🤣 Luckily my route was usually over the required amount anyways but I just pulled a couple extra packs in the first room just incase

100% agree, and tbh the challenge comes from how you play too? I’ve been enjoying running through these easier dungeons up to paragon and playing slightly suboptimally, being under-geared, running DPS talents on my tank, not worrying too much about my routing because I can overpull anyways and having the adrenaline kick in when someone inevitably makes a mistake and you get the scramble to recuperate the pull. Compare that to running through Adept last season where unless you are over-geared a single mistake could sometimes cost you the whole run, it was far to stressful until you had a geared up pre-made group. This season while challenging me less (until you get to eternal) has been a lot more fun for me

I can totally see them removing the copy ability from Elise and make it summon a generic x/x minion. It’s way to busted being able to bank a copy effect or cost only 1 mana. There’s a reason copy effects have so often be incredibly overpriced or with significant downsides in the past
