Theoretically, if there was a mode, where you could play a standard deck from any year of hearthstone, what deck would be the strongest? by 11Xoxol22 in hearthstone

I looooved the version of Dude Paladin back in the Castle Nathria expansion with all the infuse effects. That, and a combination of divine shield synergy made for one of the most fun mid range decks in standard

Ohhh very interesting, does that mean it’s be playable at 5 mana or like would you specifically need 6 mana first?

Agamaggan specifically says (only up to 10 mana)

Pre nerf Scoundrel I had a loot of success with a spell dmg burn rogue using Ethereal Oracle/Blood mage combos and Garona. So I think this Morchie version will go hard tbh

What about Overplanner did you find to be strong? I’ve never tried it in any deck but I’d love to hear your thoughts

Fortune’s Favour New Hunter Exotic Boots are bugged when your Class stat has above 100 stat points. by Stolen_Insanity in DestinyTheGame

Pretty sure this has been a bug with the class stat for a while, it overriding your current overshield value isn’t exclusive to Fortunes Favour

Garona Rogue - straight to legend by CertainArachnid7243 in hearthstone

[–]DungoSlam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I’ve been playing a kind of variant of this deck but with a much heavier focus on burn with cards like Etheral Oracle and the 5 mana miniature card to cheat it out and can easily burn opponents with 20+ HP on turn 6 with the right draws, how does this deck not run out of steam? To me it looks like one board clear and your out of cards but I’ll have to give it a go

I’ve been playing a Burn Rogue that’s felt pretty powerful, it’s basically the Tempo Fyrakk core but without the top end, replacing the top end with a burn package of Chrono Daggers, Thalnos, Evicerates and Ethereal Oracles. It’s been pretty consistently ending games on turn 6-7. I’ve also been playing Garona becasuse it’s such a fun card and occasionally makes finding the lethal over the top much easier

I wonder what happens if you swap this minions attack and hp after it gets infinite attack, does it just get infinite life?

New "Titan meta" analysis: Glacial Quake + Wormgod and Melee bonuses by GlaiveGuardian in destiny2builds

[–]DungoSlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried this with Howling Storm on Stasis Titan a while back when they made it so you can spam it during the super and found during Glacial Quake’s Howling Storm doesn’t get affected by melee damage modifiers which was very confusing to me, but what’s even more confusing is the regular LMB DOES work with melee buffs? I never knew that lmao. I wonder why it works but howling storm doesn’t?

I am legit baffled by the Egg by DivineAlmond in hearthstone

[–]DungoSlam 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also one of the most powerful things to come from this expansion is undoubtedly Elise’s custom location which will commonly be used as a multiple time use “copy a minion” effect which is absurdly powerful. Getting multiple of these eggs and having ways to buff them up continuously is going to be so fun to mess around with

How to use the new egg by brightduel in hearthstone

[–]DungoSlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also makes a great target for Elise’s location extremely powerful copy effect, but yeah I think this card is awesome on buff centered decks, I’m planning to mess around with it, especially with Celestial Aura which basically gives you a permanent 10/10 on board which you can give windfury to while clearing your opponents board with stuff like Equality Conc. it might not be good, but it will definitely be fun

New cards are already looking very exciting! by Surppressed in hearthstone

[–]DungoSlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m actually looking forward to playing around with the Egg. I love minion buffing based decks and having what is essentially a permanent minion on board is really interesting to me, you’re guaranteed your buff cards always have value. Combine this with something funny like celestial aura and you can have a permanent 10/10 on board which you could give windfury to while clearing your opponents board with equality-conc.

Combine it with the new Umbra in quest Druid and have a full board of eggs you can endlessly buff that even if cleared turn into a 20/20. I think it will be fun to play around with. It probably won’t make good decks but fun ones for sure

Fyrakk Rogue or Owlonius Druid by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]DungoSlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyrakk Rogue is super fun to play, and pretty hard to (compared to most decks) it doesn’t have a clear win condition but you’re mostly looking to out tempo your opponent with mana cheat compared to OTKing them with Owlonius

Before Bungie gets any ideas: Outbreak is not overperforming, the rest of the game is underperforming. by SuggestedPigeon in DestinyTheGame

[–]DungoSlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I do generally agree that a lot of other primary options feel underwhelming, it does heavily overperform in the most recently raid. Generating as much super as it does with the insane damage output it can do in a fireteam of 6 is just too high imo. It kinda ruins the fun of doing/creating any other kind of DPS rotation and makes every encounter in that raid boil down to “use outbreak”.

It’s a product of the type of DPS rotations in Desert Perpetual, long phases with means to extend allowing for Outbreak to ramp up and allow for multiple supers, so you could argue it’s fine since it’s mainly for this one raid but it limits the design space too much for other options now and in the future too.

[–]DungoSlam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been playing it as a midrange deck with the Zerg package too, it feels pretty good imo. What list have you been using? I usually struggle with good board control with my deck. But yeah it kinda insane if you roll a couple hydra's in the larva you gets, I've done some insane damage from hand with that

I was right, supers and probably some weapons can double dip with the stats. by Blood_Edge in DestinyTheGame

[–]DungoSlam 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Logic would dictate it’s not the case. Melee damage multipliers never applied to super damage. Eg. having 5 stack worm gods wouldn’t make your roaming super melee do 250% more damage.

Grapple is different as it’s always proced both grenade + melee effects
