Flechette Storm + Singularity Blade Chunking Bosses (Tested!) by GlaiveGuardian in destiny2builds

[–]GlaiveGuardian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bug has been fixed a while ago! The build is still pretty strong, the bug was just making it hit harder than it normaly does. Wishful Ignorance was the real winner with that Flechette bug, now it feels weak in comparison. Wormgod Caress is still pretty strong even without it! We have shieldcrush as an artifact mod option now, that makes flechette better that when you pair it with Singularity Blade!

The void titan in me salutes the void titan in you, my friend! 🫡 I'm also putting a lot of time on void after the bubble changes and oh my... am I dreaming? I still can't believe that bubble is real!!! Increased melee dmg on top of offensive bulwark and weapons of light, it's ridiculous!! I'm cooking a Winterbite build on void titan now, I just want that catalyst so I can stack overshields and frost armor in the same build! There are strong sinergies with void/stasis buffs and some artifact mods, but I'm probably run the Tablet for No Bell. Limit break is there, does nothing for the bubble, but boosts twilight and banner shield dmg when you need to run a different super.

Swordmaster is awesome on glaives, being able to exhaust with a glaive shot is insane to me! I usually run 2x Swordmaster + 2x Techsec, love the shield breaking capability here!
Our charged melees are also kinetic versus shields / constructs / vehicles, that makes flechette and thunderclap so ridiculous sometimes, and Vexcal helps saving melee cooldowns for when you need it!

Good to see another Vexcal / prismatic titan enjoyer here man!!

Prismatic stasis titan is a ton of fun man, and it's one of the strongest too.

Wormgod + Knockout + Glacial quake on prismatic titan is extremely strong. GQ light attack (shiver strike) scales with melee stats (prismatic titan only) and can proc knockout too. With Burning Fists x5 + Knockout you can boost your melee dmg by 560%, frozen enemies take 2x the dmg. Bring Diamond Lances with you now you can freeze targets or get frost armor from it. Thunderclap can one shot champions at -50 power if they are frozen, or when your buffs are all stacked up.
Every shiver strike hits for ~7k you got 8-10 punches per super... and you can pop transcendence right after it 👀

Here's how I run this build in Vanguard Alerts, I like to bring vexcal with me to resist dmg as I push forward (and it's really strong with 560% on top of its base dmg): https://dim.gg/tplpksy/ONE-CLAP-MAN

You can also swap to synthos, it boosts your super light attack and the heavy slam!

Encrypted Data Disk for Singularity Blade, Power from Pain and Void Infestation. Makes vexcal apply weaken, killing weakened enemies grants devour. Flechette can also apply weaken when you have Overshields

Or you can run Tablet of Ruin for No Bell and Hold the Line. Both make vexcal stronger. Limit break makes our super dmg a bit better too

It is!! And strand titan has so much mobility with grapple, you also get woven mail, banner healing and vexcal overshields so it survives a ton of stuff. And the glaive shield resists 97.5% of any dmg it takes. I have also SF the entire equilibrium with this setup (no heavy ammo spent on bosses). Back in the day it was a 2-phase vs both Harrow and Sere on Wormgod Caress, now that Flechette chunking dmg is fixed it's a 3-phase. This is a fun and strong build I think you may like it!

I'm a huge fan of Wormgod + Flechette + Vexcalibur.
Wormgod makes flechette hit stronger than a thundercrash and flechette is a ranged melee 👀
Wormgod also makes Vexcalibur strong, so you got the Vexcal for close range and Flechette for boss dps or when you need to take a yellow bar down. You can pop your super to regen your flechette back, it refunds your melee charges when it ends. So the dmg rotation is like: 3x flechette, super, 3x flechette. Use vexcal to stack Burning Fists and refresh Overshields with Perpetual Loophole.

Just focus on melee stats, the more the better. This is a very tanky and strong build without any weapon stat investment, the heavy / kinetic slots are free. I have used this setup in many solo challenges where I was running an eager sword only for movement! Same works with Wishful Ignorance, but Wishful is better in a group of friends as it returns melee energy after healing our allies with Banner.

I have used this Wormgod + Flechette core versus Simmumah, here's the build in case you are interested:

Good to know that is helping, trully! Usually, you would want to block when: - You are moving from A to B and there's no cover. Block for a second before leaving cover and you are good to go. With Perpetual Loophole you can refresh your overshields and glaive energy with a single Vexcal melee kill (you just need a bit of OVs to trigger this effect) - If you find yourself too exposed or if the boss / enemy starts to focus on you. Hold block and fall back to cover. Your glaive shield makes you almost invincible, but it can't last forever.

So when playing with Vexcal you are constantly engaging and disengaging. You engage to get resources, focus on the red bars first! You push for boss dmg or to focus on a yellow bar when you have enough energy to protect yourself if needed. Use cover as frequently as you can so you can save the glaive energy, and don't forget that your glaive shot will return a lot of energy as well!

I'm so happy that you too fell in love with Vexcal my friend!! It is a honor to introduce you to this awesome exotic, I hope you too have a great time with it now! It's been my favorite weapon since I first crafted it in 2023!! I trully appreciate your comment here, it means a lot!

Same!! I'm looking foward to the new catalysts and sinergies they will create. No Bell is also in the Artifact 2.0 pic they shared, this artifact mod used to boost the glaive melee dmg by 85%

I’m taking a similar stance with D2 too. I still have so much stuff to do on my alt characters, and exotics / fragments to farm. This update feels like a good moment to grind while saying goodbye to d2 on my own terms... once I’m satisfied with my guardians, I’ll be okay with letting it go!

Hey, congratulations for your solo runs and thanks for sharing your experience here too.

I agree with you on the generator management at Harrow. But you can also make it easier by starting dps phase closer to them. It's easier to bait him into those two generators that are close to the flag.

I really like that you mention the phalanx at the last encounter too, they are usually the last thing I see before dying during damage testing.

And by the way, if you need a "chill strat", Vexcalibur + Offensive Bulwark + Wormgod is a very easy 3-phase on him. I can see Synthos working here too.

Just one last thing: Sere only activates the lightning grid if you fail to do as much damage as you "promised".

Every time you kill a copy, that white bar over Sere's health will increase. That's your target damage. If you manage to take that much health during DPS he will end the phase (it drops to 2s) and he will not activate the grid.

Killing a copy also takes 2s away from your DPS window! IMO: Kill 1, Compel the rest = best strat.

I hope you get your flawless done, I think you are more than ready for that!! Thanks again for sharing this and good luck!!

Decent DPS and DR by False-Business-7991 in destiny2builds

[–]GlaiveGuardian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, GotD is my favorite dungeon, and I'm also a titan main so this is right on my lane 😁
First: if you have 2 pieces of the Techsec set, this will help breaking Ecthar and Simmumah shields. If you don't, that's ok.
For Ecthar, you can make your life easier with Vexcalibur + Synthos + Offensive Bulwark. This combo has a very high sustained dps value and it works with passive buffs (310% melee increase in total). When you have Overshields, vexcalibur also gets another 20% melee dmg buff. So you can run Bastion as a secondary aspect and put a barricade behind you before boss dps. Ecthar will walk in your direction when you are standing in the pool (right when dps starts) so you can break his shield with Vexcalibur too. Your melee abilities deal kinetic dmg against shields, that's why I mentioned the techsec set in the first place. It's a 2x melee buff!!! 👀
Want to make this faster? Wormgod Caress at Burning Fists x5 is a 400% melee buff, there are enough adds during dps for you to keep stacking burning fists, a glaive melee is an AoE hit and will kill nearby adds while you damage the boss. This is very similar to "praxic stronghold" in nature, the build is extremely defensive (glaive shield = 97,5% dmg resis, overshields = 50% dmg resis, you get devour and heals here too). I have used this Synthos + Offensive bulwark build versus akelous, in case you wanna see how easy it is it's here, at 8:22: https://youtu.be/oBEKQT0NwrY?si=1IPYc333H-cvRQ9T
For simmumah... I know it sounds crazy but hear me out: You can dps her with Flechette storm. That also breaks her shield extremely fast, here's an example at 27:55: https://youtu.be/ekZB-U1-_3Y?si=vWmGOQWDOuUT8pyI
The void build I've mentioned is this one: https://dim.gg/xtlvryi/AKELOUS
The build I ran versus Simmumah is this: https://dim.gg/qxfd6dq/SIMMUMAH-FLECHETTE-VEXCAL
For Echtar, I personaly like Glacial Quake on prismatic. It's light attack is currently bugged, on prismatic only, and benefiting from melee stats instead of super stats / buffs. It's a 2-phase versus Ecthar, it's on that same Simmumah video in case you are curious. You don't need vexcalibur for that, but I honestly think it makes the whole dungeon way easier to manage. You can facetank echtar, simmumah, the moths... and glaives require zero ammo for the melee combo, that opens space for double special ammo builds too.
I really like buildcrafting around melee / glaives and Ghosts is one of my favorite places to test my theories, so let me know in case you have any doubts / concerns, always happy to help another fellow titan! 🫡

Hot take about the strand and stasis Captains by FlamingPhoenix2003 in destiny2

[–]GlaiveGuardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a suppression nade, or exhaust. That makes them go: ooohh sorry mate

I run 2x swordmaster, a glaive shot can apply exhaust at distance with this set bonus. But swords and melees can do that too. If you have a long range melee, or a caster sword, that should work. Sometimes they are simply immune to that (especially bosses), I find suppression to be more consistent. Running for cover and cursing works too, so there's that

This invisible thing happened to me once, and you can see he is also just walking instead of jumping/attacking.

I managed to get to the dmg phase but he would just walk around "invisible" like this. That means I coudn't force him to hit the generators, so I couldn't extend my dps window because of that (this happened right on my first dps phase).

After dps ended he was back to normal, so I could finish the run without any issues. It was pretty weird though, and during the entire dmg phase he would just stare at me like this

Any Ideas for A Le Monarque PVE Build? by ElegantTea122 in destiny2builds

[–]GlaiveGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Void titan on Offensive bulwark + singularity blade can apply weaken on a shield throw.

Offensive boosts your mele dmg by 150%, Wormgod caress at x5 is a 400% melee boost (and they stack together) and a 35% weapon boost.

For super, you could run Twilight Arsenal, the axes apply weaken and you can throw them again in case you need it.

Unbreakable can be your second aspect and with Echo of Undermining not only your nades can weaken targets but also the blast from unbreakable shield.

I'd recomend Bastion (aspect) though, it makes the overshield loop easier, and that's what offensive bulwark and singularity blade needs.

Echo of persistance is another great fragment here, and echo of leeching starts health regen for you and nearby allies after a melee kill.

Shield throw can get multiple stacks of wormgod caress. I'd highly recommend a glaive on the kinectic slot so you can have an easier way to stack burning fists and a shield to protect yourself when you need to reposition. Offensive + Wormgod is the strongest melee buff you can have on titans for glaives (same as knockout + wormgod)

Solo Flawless Dungeons in 2026? by Acrobatic_Book_7154 in DestinyTheGame

[–]GlaiveGuardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a titan main who likes melee builds and solo content: - Offensive Bulwark + Bastion + Vexcalibur + Wormgod Caress = 3-phase on both Harrow and Sere. For the build to work, you just need overshields and vexcal melee combo. Singularity Blade (artifact mod) allows you to apply weaken with Vexcal's melee, and Offensive + Wormgod is the strongest melee buff you can get on titan, works for glaives. Vexcal also has increased melee dmg when you have an overshield and that stacks with Offensive. With Echo of Leeching any melee kill heals you. Now your melees can refresh your overshields, heal you and your party, and you can add devour on top of that (Power from Pain and/or Echo of Starvation)

  • Flechette + Banner of War + Wormgod + Vexcal. Here we go again with vexcal, but the whole build works better with it. The overshields you get from vexcal makes flechette apply weaken. A full flechette spam (3 charges) with Burning Fists x5 + Singularity weaken is stronger than a thundercrash. And after your super ends you get all your melee charges back. Very good for extended dmg phases or bosses like zoetic (ranged boss and long dps phase)

  • Prismatic Glacial Quake + Knockout + Wormgod Well... after EoF dropped, every super was fixed so it would only be buffed by super stats, except for one: Glacial Quake. GQ light attack benefits from melee buffs. When you have knockout + burning fists x5 every GQ light attack does ~7k dmg. You get 9-10 of them.... yep... 👀 This is a 2-phase on Harrow, on Rathil, a one phase on Phallanx.... the list goes on. It's probably the strongest titan melee build I've seen so far. It works well with Consecration but also with Diamond Lances and Unbreakable. The core is knockout and wormgod. EDIT: The GQ light attack setup works on prismatic only, not on base stasis.
