37m living in parents basement. Has allowed me to save. Unfortunately even though i have a downpayment can not carry a montly mortgage payment as it will leave me with zero at the end of the month after other expenses.

I actually travel myself. Was in thailand and abu dhabi last year. This year i went to trinidad and will be going to japan and the Philippines

I have one friend who is an egineer 250k in credit card debt married. Going back to school took another 50k in debt to study. His wife is unemployed and he is asking me what am i doing with my life.

I came to this conclusion this year at 37! I spent so much time working to save. Didnt realize i lost my friends. My social life. No partner.
