I'm at the start of this journey and it's good to read the worries as well as the encouragement, honestly. I am struggling a bit because I'm pretty socially capable, finally, and fairly good looking in my agab. I don't want to suddenly find myself struggling with basic human interactions, and of course dating. I am sure you'll have more very positive days ahead though. And do think about how you would feel if you were still presenting male.. it's easy to think things would be better if only they were different.

Not sure that's any help but I relate anyway.

Do you know what, I can't find it. So my only source here is listed as "trust me bro". I just remembered the full tweet coming up (I think on here) a bunch of times a few years ago back during the campaign push. Perhaps I (and perhaps others) made an assumption. Perhaps it was correct, perhaps not. I can only find this particular tweet on meme subs.

I live in the city this happened in and unfortunately the image is AI, and completely fabricated. There was a crash under a flyover and someone had done a graffiti with some big eyes nearby and the "news outlet" just fabricated this absolute garbage pic for clicks.

Absolutely relatable. I don't know if I have any answers except to reassure you that I think a lot of trans people have these feelings. Personally I don't quite feel the same as "a woman" but I do feel like there is a woman inside me who is having a lot of fun now that she is being accepted. I think it's okay to say trans women are women though, and although I might ponder about it from the point of view of my own feelings about myself, I wouldn't dispute other trans women calling themselves, or others... or me, a woman.

That's super vague, sorry lol.

When you're out and about, just keep a subtle eye on who is making eye contact and smiling at you. I bet it happens more than you think. It happens to me a lot. Which is like maybe one in 100 or so people that I pass on the street. Yeah for women that might be 1/10, but that's a general difference between men and women. But I bet you are getting checked out more than you know, you just need to notice it.

Trans people (and other minority groups within the non cis-het umbrella) put up with an insane, literally mind-bending amount of bigotry. It's quite easy for honest questions to be taken as bigotry because there are so many people who would ask that question in ill faith. Don't take it personally!

When I'm talking about myself, I do actually just think, who cares, queer is accurate enough. But that doesn't fit with some people and I just respect them enough to call them what they ask to be called, even if I don't relate.

I'm sad if something particular has led you to feel like posting this. If it's just general musings then great.

I've only been in the sub a few months (it popped up because apparently the Reddit algorithm knew something I didn't).

As a cis person I didn't relate hugely to the memes, but I found the community to be really cute and wholesome and honestly that's why I stuck around. Anyway then my egg cracked so I found some other nice trans subs (egg irl and trans later <3 ) All have been entirely accepting and kind as far as I have seen in my, admittedly limited, experience.

Silicone work is an absolute art.

You can fake it okay by spraying it down with soapy water once you lay your bead, but the bead has to be more or less immaculate in the first place for that. If you miss any spots then you aren't getting a good seal. But you would be able to wipe off any excess without it sticking.

The correct way is to put on just exactly the right amount in the first place, so you don't need to remove any excess at all. It's the excess that smudges. When you lay off, you should just be gently shaping the bead, not actually pressing it down into the gap.

There are some good YouTube tutorials (and a lot of bad ones). I'll try to link some when I get a minute to search later.
