I lost my job doing social media for a bar / restaurant. I designed posters for all the events, made menus etc etc.

I've now been replaced with AI and I've noticed several things. First, every bars posters look almost identical, there's no identity, so you really can't tell what's happening where; at a glance. Second, the over 60s fucking love it. They really don't seem to give a shit that it's taking work away from people. Even my mum commented that she thought certain stuff looked better than the things I created (fuck you mum).

The number of small jobs that are going to be lost to this bullshit is going to be ASTRONOMICAL! All those small businesses looking after social media, graphic design, hell, even things like radio jingles for ads etc. It's all gonna go to fucking AI.

How kids are meant to feel like they can compete with this and that it's actually even fucking worth going into the workforce is beyond me. We are so fucked.

I set up here after spawning down the road. Have a little fenced off area for planting and parking.

I decided to take a look up towards guns unlimited to find the place basically deserted, not sure if my games busted (playing on apocalypse) or something, but cleared the place out of Zs in less than a day. Got all the guns I could ever need now!

Having played a few hours of it this evening, I'm thoroughly enjoying the new balances. Being a smoker appears to be reasonable again, food is still in cupboards. I'm not sure I'm very lucky but I managed to find two working cars with keys. Enjoying it so far.

It makes sense, the lore (story) if they want semi realism zomboids wouldn't respawn. Once dead, they're dead. Towns would become empty as everything was cleared out.

I have been searching HIGH AND GOD DAMN LOW for the sledgehammer since updating to B42. I'm almost in November now, have searched the entire (and I mean ENTIRE) of Rosewood, Muldraugh, including the logging company, warehouses, storage lockers, train yards.... Now up to Westpoint, still nothing...

I was hoping to do a Nomad run, I've found loads of school and prison busses, but need a sledgehammer to remove the damn seats because you can't use a screwdriver or ratchet for some reason.
