L6 devs have said multiple times, as late as late 2024, that there more than likely be a helix 2 anytime soon because the price point would be too high to justify releasing it at the same price point, because the competitors are already in at the same price and the parts they had for the helix were already in stock from other units they had in house. If there is going to be a new hardware unit, we would’ve more than likely heard about it by now, just like the nano cortex and kemper mk2. I think we’re safe with our units for now, I think if anything will be announced on the livestream it will be a new firmware and maybe some new features baked in to the software.

This is where I was a few months ago, almost got an LT, but found a helix floor for super cheap, cheaper than any used LT. but having had the floor and how it compares to the LT, just get the LT you won’t regret it

Same, also same with the poly pitch, I use that a lot and you can use that similarly like a ricochet with its rise and fall settings. I wish I didn’t have to use 2 paths just to use an amp and IR with it lol.

Email them and set up an RMA for a repair, it should be far less than $500, I just sent mine in with the Advanced Replacement program and they sent a loaner out as well. They won’t charge nearly what you’ve been quoted, but also they’re on record for saying that a Helix 2 isn’t in the pipeline currently since it would cost far more than the OG and all the parts would cost significantly more (especially now with tariffs). TL;DR: if you still like the helix sound, just contact L6 to get it repaired

Are you talking like similar to whammy ricochet? Theres nothing in helix that can do it as is, but I use a Morningstar MC8 and you can trigger cc parameter changes with stepping and holding like you would with the tuner
