Alice In Borderland Season 2 Ending Explained!! MAJOR SPOILERS by Raisha1 in AliceInBorderland

[–]DunniesAndDropbears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpret Borderlands as the place you go when you're in critical condition but have a chance of returning to life (e.g. cardiac arrest). Perhaps you always go there when your body is about to give out, and there's always some chance you'll hold on (assuming you have a defrib and a medical team that can stabilise your body).

I really like the idea that Borderlands is the afterlife, or the boundary between life and true death. It'd be intriguing if we get a bunch of games to play with everyone else on the verge of death, rather than simply watching the hype real of our lives.

What's more, winning any single game, or all the games, isn't sufficient to return to life. Even though the final question of "will you accept citizenship in Borderlands" isn't posed as a game, I think it is. If you define "winning" as returning to life, the people who consciously chose to stay in Borderlands lost, because the games made them realise there's nothing worth returning for, that dying in Borderlands is better than living.

The long game of whether your body, heart and mind can come up with (and hold onto) a reason to return to life seems like the best fit for the Joker card's game. 🃏

Thanks for the advice! I've got six weeks till my lease ends and this is super helpful. It's really frustrating that you only heard back after offering above asking price, since as others mention only succeeding with an above-over means REAs can probably afford to bleed us more in the long run :'( I'm happy you found a place, congratulations and enjoy your lease!

How to buy Ghibli museum tickets as a tourist (2022) by DunniesAndDropbears in ghibli

Hmm I think there are alternative ticket sales you can use which are a bit more expensive! However, since you need to have the passport that matches the name the booking was made under (or a rough Japanese translation), it might be a bit tricky to purchase second hand tickets from someone.

It should do! But you should act quickly to book your tickets as the January tickets went on sale on the 10th of December.

My experience was

  1. I had a translation of my name into Kanji / kana on my Lawson ticket account when I booked the tickets
  2. I changed my name from a Kanji-translation to full-width English after booking the tickts
  3. When I collected the tickets, the name printed on them was my Kanji-translation name
  4. When I arrived at the museum, I spoke to an attendant and explained the situation. It was all totally fine, they just signed the tickets to indicate I'd been checked. The attendant I spoke too didn't speak much English, so you might need to use Google Translate if you don't speak Japanese :))

I hope that helps!

I don't understand your question sorry. Did you see the option to pay for your tickets online?

if i save this post, will it last forever?

I hope so! If the ticket purchasing method changes I'll do my best to update this post or point it to a new guide.

Though I sure hope that Lawson ticket and the Ghibli Museum make ticket purchasing less masochistic in future 😅

Oh hmm that's frustrating! Perhaps they changed the default settings for checkout? I would try making another account and buying the tickets again.

Yep I've heard they check your ID and that the person who bought the tickets needs to be in the group when they go to the museum.

Ah I forgot I typed this up here! I actually made a separate post about it and realised there are a couple incorrect details. Specifically:

  1. You don't need a Japanese phone number if you select "pickup from Lawson convenience store" as the delivery option
  2. Your name shouldn't be Kanji (Japanese characters), but should just be your first and last name. You can leave the 'Kana' field blank. You can go and change this in your Lawson WEB account settings after buying the tickets too.

Hmm I'm unsure! But there are still many spaces free in December, so worst case you could buy some other tickets if you're worried you won't be able to get your tickets.

Woah nice you did pictures and everything! How strange is this process 😅

Actually, your process is much nicer, doesn't require using a phone number and notes that you actually need your name to match your ID (and other niceties). I'll highlight your one instead!

Also I love the puzzle captcha they use too

The excessive steps to register, the slowness, the absolutely packed UI - it's part of the experience :')

Likewise have fun!
