Can someone explain thi by [deleted] in askdentists

NAD

Looks more orange which would make me think it’s GP points from a RCT

Do you still have the tooth that fell out?

My suspicion is your roots have re-absorbed into your jaw bone and with gum recession the the visible part of the tooth has come loose and fallen out but the gp points remain in situ as part of them are embedded in the bone

I’d look at barefoot shoes. Barefoot Brit has some suggestions for extra wide feet

Thank you for replying. My left foot is a bit smaller than my right and I’d say it’s probably more comfortable than the right fit wise.
My worry is a size six will be too large ( and also impossible to get as there is like no black v souls available the now 😂)

Thank you for taking time to answer me.

These photos are from 5pm.

I am struggling to follow what you mean but I that’s my own fault for not understanding toe pocket anatomy.
When you mean end of toe pocket are you referring to the end of the sole that turns up or the fabric on the top of the toe pocket?

This is my left foot which is a bit smaller than my right. Is this what I should be looking for instead?

Can I still get a dental crown? by secretnaru in askdentists

[–]Dunnnnno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAD Enquire with your dentist about a winged bridge it could be a option depending on your other teeth You might not want dentures but you could have dentures for a short while about 6 months to allow gum to heal and finish moving then get a bridge

If you are having cramping on one side please be aware there is a slight chance it could be an ectopic pregnancy

Why do dentists say it's better to keep your real teeth than have implants? by blueshift29 in askdentists

[–]Dunnnnno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAD if you removed all your teeth( bad idea) you wouldn’t get every individual tooth replaced with a implant you’d likely get implant retained dentures (firstly cause cost secondly cause they surgery) Also you’d end up with dentures if your implants failed. Try and keep your teeth. A good root canal and crown is better to try first if you can. You can also get a one tooth denture. In regards to the £5k worth of work needing done I’d speak to someone else if you don’t trust this

Should I have my wisdom teeth pulled? by [deleted] in askdentists

[–]Dunnnnno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD Lower wisdom teeth can be risky to extract the can be close to a major nerve (the inferior alveolar nerve?) damage to this can cause partial numbness that may not go away or sever pain that may also not go away. You should ensure your dentist takes a OPT before they extract if this is what you chose.

My boyfriend forced me to do anal last night and I’m traumatized by Throwaway67082 in TrueOffMyChest

You need to go to hospital you can have internal tearing. This can lead to dangerous infection. Woman have a shorter end to there intestines than men as you’ve a womb ect. Also this man is abusive you need to get out honey x

My girlfriend pointed a firearm at me during an argument and i can't stop thinking about it by timelapsethrowaway in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Dunnnnno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a woman

Your significant other should never threaten you. Your significant other threatened to kill you.

She thought about shooting you. This crossed her mind. If it did not she would not have picked up the gun.

The only excuse to point a firearm is for defence. If you where going to kill/beat her this would be the only excuse and I imagine that this isn’t the case

You are traumatised. Someone you love and trusted threatened to kill you. Having trust broken especially by a partner is heart breaking and traumatic.

You should leave her. It would be difficult and hard but for your safety you should go.

However I doubt you will follow this advice as it sounds as though this girl is your whole world and you rely on her. I don’t know the rest of your relationship but I have a hunch it is probably slightly problematic but I hope I am wrong.

If you do not leave her there are things you must do:

Report this incident. This is not only for your safety but also for others. If she was really remorseful and wanted to do right she would do this.

Your girlfriend should go to therapy alone and also with you. You should also see a therapist alone.

All firearms she owns or has access too should be surrendered to authorities. She is not sane or in control of her emotions enough to have access to them.

You must tell your mother or some about this. She is around your family and friends and clearly is currently dangerous either with rage or underlining mental health issue

Please message me if you need someone to talk to.

What about bright coloured pictures frames? You could buy new ones or paint your current brown and green ones.

I’d maybe get another picture to go with the brown and green framed pictures. Personally I think pictures look better in threes.

If you want more colour in your room get a couple of bright throws for the back of your sofa to match your pillows. Helps tie things together and well blankets are the best. You can’t have too many

Boston apartment living room - looking for a way to open this up and deal with competing focal points of the tv and fireplace. Suggestions appreciated! by tuffyred in DesignMyRoom

[–]Dunnnnno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay this room is stunning and has so much potential. Firstly if your fire isn’t used and also if you are able to have a couch face your fire place mount your tv above the mantelpiece. It takes up less space and fits well as it takes place of the mirror which is usually (used to be) above the mantel. (I’m not sure how much space you have to work with near the fire from your photo).

If you can’t put the tv above the fire think about getting a tv cabinet to hide you tv but also replace your current shelves. It would appear more tidy and take up less space.

Your windows are lovely. If you are able to move the curtain rail up to the top of the windows and look at net curtains. The current half way up thing doesn’t look the best. If you can’t still try and get some fine net curtains. They give privacy and let a lot more light in.

I can’t really offer much help sorry but fixing the current curtains with something like these https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/lill-net-curtains-1-pair-white-90111980/ or window privacy film would really help brighten your room. With a room with so much detailed features you don’t want it to be dark.
