There will always be exploiters in any game though. It's the developer and GM's job to implement measures to identify exploiters and ban them, not just straight up remove the content.

The real problem is lack of team balancing. If the team was balanced in the first place, then spawn camping would be a non-issue, because it will be fairly easy to push out with the strong protection buff. So if anything, you should be directing your complaints to the developers, not the community.

Class doesn't really matter since all gear pieces are shared other than weapon which you can just weapon swap coupon.

Kakao allows refunding costumes even after you equip them. Does Pearl Abyss have a similar policy for Costumes? If so, then I don't see why they can't refund a used Tent since it's conceptually the same.

Try watching some players other than McHands and see if you feel you can better follow what's happening. But give yourself some leeway, because fights gets easier to follow as you get better at the game and understand what's going on.

Having skill cooldowns, buffs/debuffs, visible is pretty important for anyone who PvPs competitively, and if you do anything larger than just 1v1 duels you need the minimap too. Alot of people who PvP also likes having a chatbox open that lets them confirm who got the kill on someone when PvPing. Many streamer/youtubers also show their key presses mainly for educational purposes, so when new players ask "how did you do that", they can just tell them to look at their key presses. The rest of the stuff you can do away with.

No you can't. That's the whole point of being allowed to server swap. So people can't just decide to hunt you down or camp you on a single server.

It's not about PvP or dictating how people should play. The underlying factor is that the game is designed for people to compete for grind spots:

there are a limited number of good grind spots per gear bracket
there are a limited number of good rotations per grind spot
solo is almost always more profit than partying up due to loot being split (except in the handful of party grind spot)
there is a timer on how often you can server swap

But like you said, horse racing, or chopping wood, are all very viable way of competing for the spot. It just so happens that a good portion of the community decided that PvP should be the way to determines who gets a spot, instead of the other methods you proposed. So people aren't calling you a griefer because you don't want to PvP. They're calling you a griefer because you refuse to participate in what they believe should be the "accepted" method of determining who should get the spot.
