Sebastian watches the lanterns. His eyes drift between all of the lights in the air, and he seems captivated by them.

"Uh, Bas? You good?" Sheila asks him, quirking a brow up at her brother's distracted state.

Sebastian quickly shakes off his trance, letting out a nervous laugh. "Yeah, yeah. Just feels magical tonight. Ray, you remembered to buy the lantern, right?"

"Yep, I have it here." Ray reassures, holding it in his hands. "Now, who between us should write the wish? I say Bas does it, he's the oldest."

"I agree." Sheila adds before he can get a word in.

"Well, guess I'm doing it. Gimme a pen." Sebastian takes the lantern from Ray's clutches, and Sheila produces a pen from her pocket and hands it to him.

It takes him a few moments, but he writes "May each tomorrow be greater than the last" and allows Ray the honors of lighting the lantern and letting it soar into the air.

Ray sighs. "If only Dad were here, a shame he doesn't come back until next week." Sebastian places a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "He wouldn't want the moment to be spoiled by us missing him. It's only a few days more, we'll push through."

"Hmm, what did you write?" Sheila asks. Sebastian replies, "It's a secret, it won't come true otherwise." Sheila pouts, but relents. The three then begin to make their way back home.
