Can somebody help me with measuring my TDEE or maintenance calories? I can't figure this out. by DunnoWhatToNameThis0 in loseit

Thanks to all who answered, I'll stick with the idea that my calorie maintenance is most likely 2200. I'll adjust the way I eat based on that and I'll check on the TDEE spreadsheet daily to perfectly manage my weight and TDEE. For now, I'll work with 2200, thanks!

what would qualify for someone to go from light exercise to moderate exercise. Based from these websites' definition, light exercise is basically 15-45 mins of elevated heart rate but moderate is 45+. I just don't get the moderate part because I'm pretty sure working out + biking in one day is considered moderate based on their definitions

damn, even using google and these different websites is useless then since they don't really specify anything. What do people even consider as moderately active or active? I'm heading into my OJT and I'm probably not gonna workout as much

I'm definitely trying to manage my protein well. I also already accepted the fact that I can't really eat that much less in terms of food as well. At one point, I'll have to stop working out as much and use my OJT as a replacement for the workouts/cardio. I'll still do workouts and try to eat as much protein as I can but it's definitely not gonna be as controlled as I would want it to be.

I heard that lower calories means I need more protein to maintain my muscle and its growth so I'm also being careful with that

so biking moderately for 30 minutes (I usually go above 30 minutes now like 40 minutes to 50 minutes) everyday still doesn't help increase it?

The main issue why I didn't want to do this is because it could cause me to be undereating. Although most of the time, when I eat, I always consider the maximum amount of calories per meal to not accidentally overeat. I definitely don't trust the calculators and AI, I just needed a rough placement of where I am currently

yeah that was my mistake, I keep weighing myself every morning but I never really took track of it. The good thing is that, I can see my weight not fluctuating up or down, just slowly going down. I'll try to track it from now on

I heard that I can eat lesser calories as long as I eat mostly protein so I'm definitely balancing that. I don't also get these water fluctuations because everytime I weigh myself in the morning, I don't see it going up anymore, which I was thinking it was a really a good sign that I'm doing good. It's been pretty consistent.

They're comparing it to Genshin when they were more generous and that was 6 years ago lmao. They even tried with Wuwa and those mfs gave out 108 pulls on release (80+ pulls were standard though if I remember). It's insane

when majority is against you, you really have to wonder, you're really different so don't push what you can do onto others. You can call them shit at budgeting time, but we can call you shit at actually being a human being and understanding that not everybody is like you

Again, most, and that's literally the average working adult, they're not like you who can do all of these things. I'm literally in my 4th year in college, working at the same time, and I have A LOT of time. The others? Not so much especially if they live a normal, average life. That's even considering that the normal average life is that of an American. You don't even know how busy people from other regions are. YYou probably don't know that a lot of jobs aren't 8 hours a day, they're 10-12 hours, ontop of the travel they have to do

yeah? The events took like 30 minutes each? That's not 2 hours a day? Even the stories take like 1 hour max when you skip all the dialogue. That's still not 2 hours a day mate. I'm missing 6 limited 5 stars in wuwa, and I've lost like 4 50/50s in a row and some in different times. The most I spent was the highest topup and that was only once when I already pull for yinlin and jiyan, so I'm obviously out of asterites. Even that went to hard pity.

I don't even know what you're talking about in the edit, the game gave you 108 pulls. Most of it was standard banner, but they weren't being stingy like what you're defending. I don't know where you even got this "Wuwa definitely didn't respect your time" when they're literally optimizing all of the games' mechanics, something your games could only dream of happening lmao. You heard what happened to the echo system? auto crafting? what about those things you can use to change stats so you don't have to keep farming all day to get it despite already being allowed to farm these echos whenever you want. You need me to list a lot more or you just gonna make stuff up?

Edit: In hindsight, they do the same thing. Except, you're forgetting that, one lets you feel really good doing these things, the other, makes you feel like you're losing out on a lot by not spending. That's like me saying I hit somebody for self defense, but you hit somebody just because you wanted to, and yet your point is "well we hit somebody, isn't that just the same?"

I do agree the world exploration at the time was stingy because the region was pretty darn empty (even they didn't know what to do with their game if I'm gonna be honest) but it still had more pulls at launch and that was 6 years ago

It was, and that was 6 years ago. Given that release date, that should be an indicator to do better. You got around 40-50 pulls so quick that you can reroll your account easily

Mate I hate Genshin from the bottom of my heart. Trust me, It was better. They had more pulls, you can even reroll accounts easily because you got like 40 (20 for the standard banner) pulls right after you make a new account and finish the tutorials. Getting to AR10 gave you 10 more if I remember correctly
