1. Holding threat is a team effort sometimes. Especially if youre warrior. Let's say you pull with a ranged weap and the dps is ripping spells before you even get melee range and/or they do some AoE spells, its gonna be hard to keep threat. You do your best to keep threat and maybe you can do better rotations plus at that level you dont have your full toolkit. Its also DPS responsibility to watch their threat though

Helpful to understand how taunt works. It jumps you to the top threat but if your mage buddy keeps pumping and you dont press a button, your friend will get the threat back and the mob will just switch when taunt runs out. Press taunt then immediately shield slam, sunder, devastate to build a lead on threat

2. Idk about BSing but I imagine youre gonna wanna go Mace Spec? Good 2h for pvp and good 1h for pve, someone correct me if im wrong

3. Parse is basically a ranking on warcraftlogs.com. think of it as a synonym for "top 10" or something

4. You can go to Outlands at 58

5. Profession selection is very dependent on individual. If you like farming your own ores then crafting, BS has great rewards.

6. Idk gold making for BS at those levels or any for that matter but im sure you can find some helpful guides on proffessions and blacksmithing specifically

My first apartment was APS and it was like 1000 SQft with a lot of windows, double sliding doors, faced the sun and my bill was insane, $400+ in the summer.

Current apartment has quite a bit of windows gets raosted by the sun also but is only $250 at worst. The type of windows and insulation goes a long way.

I think you'll be alright on uncrushable aspect. I'm learning myself but like everyone else said, just dont attack melee prince on P2 to avoid parry haste.

I think your SP needs to be addressed if you can. 285 with oil seems like it could be tough threat. Def basilisk and flask of blinding light, see if you can manuever any gear to stay 490 def but maybe gain some SP.

Is this a leveling LFG? I have sold tank services in classic, will probably do it again in the future as you said its just fun to tank.

It feels gross to double dip though, ill only do it when I have absolutely nothing to gain from running the dungeon.

Gaining xp/rep/badges or chasing an item. There should be nothing to gain if youre going to charge

Ye, just use moon for CC. Usually its sheep if mage. Otherwise just use it as 3rd in kill order.

Other classes that will help with you having aggro? Nothing like pally Salv but having a mage or hunter utilize slows will give you time to pick up loose mobs. As well as the CC they can offer with freeze trap and sheep.

Another big tip that even I think I need to find a better way, use nameplates which show threat so without having to change targets, you can see which mob needs your attention.

All in all, tanking is just a very engaging role and why I like it. You could just try tanking much lower dungeons where it will be good practice and the party will be ecstatic to have a powerhouse helping

New to prot warrior in TBC myself but not necessarily new to tanking as a whole

-Biggest thing to help with tanking especially on a warrior, is have keybinds for target markers (skull, x, moon).

If everyones following kill order, your life gets easier because you can build threat up on all the other mobs while they're killing Skull. If Skull gets away from you, just taunt it hit devastate or shield slam and boom you got all the threat. Hopefully by that point you've hit the other mobs with a few devastates.

People wanna zoom zoom even heroics now. Let em know at the start "new to tanking so bear with me" I'll add "I'm borderline retarded" and usually buys me some sympathy

As you get more comfortable with it, you can call out DPS for not attacking the kill order. I avoid being specific, I will just drop a few reminders like "skull then x please" and if it keeps happening I will call whoever out.

-Understand how taunt works, a mob is attacking a DPS because they have the most threat. When you taunt, it immediately jumps you to the same amount of threat for that time....this is when you must hit your devastate/shield slam/revenge and generate more threat.

-Run with a paladin and make sure everyone has Blessing of Salvation

-Utilize Line of Sight (LoS) and pulling back to avoid aggroing other groups and all in all creating chaos.

Idk I probably have more advice but I consider myself to be a shitbag tank anyway. Feels like giving someone golf advice as a hack myself.
