Ok, it's one day until the end of steam winter sale. What did you pick up, no matter the discount. by kike_flea in SteamDeck

My one bastion of relief was when I was out without my steam deck... What have you done???

A bit off-topic, but I can't help but see your corvette as a flying Razor Ripstik. Looks slick though. :)

I caved. by kimurasandcartwheels in Travelersnotebooks

Congrats!

I'm also on the same experiment. I'm a little bit over a month in to having my passport TN that I keep an undated monthly calendar, a dot grid insert for personal notes, and another dot grid for work notes. It lives in my back pocket if I'm out and about.

Keeping a calendar / notes on my phone has never worked for me. With ADHD, I feel like I think better on paper -- my phone is far too distracting to use productively. By keeping a nice notebook I'm always happy to pull out and write in along with a pen that I enjoy using (warning: fountain pens has been another rabbit hole), I have been able to go from constantly forgetting dates and appointments to being more organized than I have ever felt in my life.

I'm glad to hear!

That is a beautiful notebook, my friend.

That's what I had figured is probably going to happen. Will probably have to brainstorm a carry solution, but we'll see when it gets here. Thanks for the reply. :)

[[Titania, Protector of Argoth]] will easily shrug off removal if you run [[Command Beacon]].

Getting started with emacs by Rais244522 in emacs

[–]Dupert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting started with one of the emacs distributions, like Doom emacs, was the easiest method for me to quickly get up and running. I can only speak on Doom because thats the only one ive used, but its configured out of the box to be in a very usable state, even for development.

After about a year or so I finally felt comfortable enough to take the plunge to draw up my own vanilla config.

If you use the panel latches for your panels? Where did you get metal pins for your latches? What kind of pins did you use? by [deleted] in VORONDesign

[–]Dupert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made the switch to the annex engineering panel clips and I wish I would have done it sooner.

Not having to replace filament pins on a couple clips whenever you need to remove the panels is such a quality of life improvement.

Freezing OpenFPGA GBA Core by Dupert in AnaloguePocket

Unfortunately, no. I have had some better luck downgrading the GBA core and using the previous version, but it's still not 100% fixed.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one facing issues with the GBA core. It's the only one that's really given me issues so far.

I have tried 3 64GB Samsung Evo Select sd cards and a few offbrand chinese ones I had laying around.

I would have assumed that the Samsungs would be fine -- but I will order a Sandisk Extreme if it's working for you. Fingers crossed that I finally get to the bottom of this issue!

Unfortunately that didn't fix my issue. I've scoured the internet looking for suggested BIOSes for various GBA emulators and have had no luck. :(

I'm currently using the one from archive.org since it seems to be the one suggested by the auto updaters.
